Hi all,
I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.
Everyone is welcome!
I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.
This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.
So, I hope it catches on !

I stayed on the Code Marlboro thread, and a few prizes there, but mostly lots of people got nothing. Did anyone win anything big?
I got the goofy ashtray, that's all. Among other 3 peeps I know personally who entered, only one has reported with winning the cards.
Would rather thy run a contest with alot of $200-$500 prizes that what they have been doing. Hated the one where only a few people got to win but they won big cause it did nothing for so many more even though Im glad for those that did win and this one is a whole bunch of people winning little things they give away for free in the buy 3 packs get a gift thing! They need to do the explore the US thing they did last summer. That was cool and we got to pick our prize so we all got something we wanted!
That refrigerator was gonna have an affidavit and etc that he would have no choice but to turn in......and they would cut his checks.
Smaller than $600 , they might find out about it, they might not....but if they did, he has no excuse why he didn't turn it in......other than he was trying to get away with it.
For me if I didn't turn in a 600 prize, I would probably get penalty and have to pay the taxes. If he gets caught they take away his means of support/check.
My affidavit for the $340 win from Motorola stated I will be getting the 1099 paperwork to turn in for next year.....so it's not always above $600.

Sunglasses, Mag Lite, USB thingy, GPS, I think were nice wins.
I saw on old Marlboro Contests that they ran the exact same one I think it was 2008, with some of the same prizes.
yea, just wondered why it pops up like it does.
have mentioned before, my friend won the refridgerator, but didn't accept cause of his SS disability......he's the only big winner I know of.
Someone in the beginning posted here on FF they won the camera but I can't remember who.

11) WINFALL. Now, this particular point really applies more to Supplemental Security Income. A WINFALL is when you get a big lump sum of money unexpectantly. This money could be an inheritance, a settlement, or even the lottery. Now, you're sitting there with a monthly check and a big sum of money and you're thinking, BOOM, I'll just live on my monthly SSI check and ride out with my money in the bank. Unless you have your LUMP SUM of money in some type of special needs trust, that money will be counted against your SSI. What does that mean? THis means until you spend the money down to a particular amount, SSI won't pay you a DIME!
