RETIRED Marlboro Outwit the West Funny Farm

228 92 October 16, 2010 at 01:35 PM
Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

So, I hope it catches on !

So pop a beer and pull up a chair and relax !

Blondeey, you have a "window" of almost 2 hrs. From the top of one hour to almost the end of the next
I know. That one night I did not make it. Shut the computer off and left and when I put it back on I did not allow sufficient time to boot everything and when I hit enter instead of share it came to the screen that we have all day that it is not the hour. So I do not think my entry made it. I remember last Sunday was really late but I do not remember Saturday. Only 5 more days after today. Sure hope some more of us win.

Had that happen with one of the xboxes I won............ The one I kept!!! Didnt have a receipt and it was a factory default and microsoft wont do anything because I clicked the rules button. Son says he thinks thats why they were giving them away is because they knew they would be returned and there is no fix other than replacing the processor. If they gave them as prizes they can claim them as a tax write off!
I emailed the girl I got the affadavit papers from...I'll give that a few days.....then I will resort to posting on their FB and Twitter....sometimes that helps.

thanks - if we go to our own facebook pages and see who posted that they entered on Panasonic, and enter on our posts of it, we will each get an extra entry. Did we know that? I have been trying to do it that way.

I read online that fox urine will keep rabbits out of a garden. I tried the cayenne pepper, plastic bags tied to poles, moth balls in a jar (the smell is supposed to keep them away), and even garlic. None of these worked for me. The rabbits just look at me as they continue to eat the leaves off my green beans. So I ordered fox pee on ebay. When I get it and try it out I will let you all know if it works to keep rabbits out of the garden. If it doesn't guess I'll have to invest in some kind of fence (chicken wire or something). Just hope it won't attract fox to my yard-but I don't live in the country so hopefully it won't.

Will be interesting to find out if it works....if it does, I'll see if it will work for chipmunks.

I read somewhere that placing Peppermint Oil (not extract) around gardens will keep a number of animals away from veggies and even entire acreage lots. Should be relatively easy to find. Not sure if planting Peppermint will do the same thing. Probably smells better than any urine LOL Hope this helps.

My dad uses peppermint oil (not extract) to keep ants away-it's a little expensive, but their house always smells like peppermint. The urine will be outside so I don't care what it smells like as long as it works. Those waskaly wabbits are getting on my nerves. I've not had green beans in the garden for 2 years now and I don't have the heart to kill them.
