RETIRED Marlboro Outwit the West Funny Farm

Cant have hardly anything on my new diet but I'm feeling so much better. Kidneys are healing nicely and liver is coming around. No more swelling for over a month now and Im actually losing weight on it!!! Cant have any form of starch even veggie, no fruit and limited amounts and kinds of dairy. Para-thyroid glands are still not working right and the test showed I had next to no blood calcium or vitamin D but the Dr said that usually takes 3 months on meds before anything shows up.
Due to the limited foods I'm allowed I have become very creative in the kitchen, which I love to do anyway! This is my new favorite recipe. Its kinda a soup but sister serves hers over noodles.

2 lbs loin or round roast
3-4 boxes of fresh sliced mushrooms
2 cans fat free beef broth (Swanson's)
2-3 zucchini sliced and quartered
1 round box of Laughing Cow Flavored cream cheese I use the creamy Swiss but they are all good

In a large pot cook the roast in 2 cans beef broth till done adding water only if needed. Remove and shred. Open all the foil packets of cream cheese and stir them into the broth until dissolved. Add the mushrooms, zucchini and onions if desired. Cook till its as done as you want it and add the shredded beef. I cool it and freeze it in 1 1/2 c zip-lock bowls and put one in the microwave when I want one. Its very good. Kinda like a strogganoff type of thing! You can serve it over mashed potatoes or bread or whatever you like

OMG! Last time I did that, I was in the hospital for 2 days, and my face was totally purple!! 2 days before senior pics too. TFF! That is a memory lane I didn't need to walk down!

Good morning everyone, Got my 3-D glasses from sony yesterday with my winnings from Camel, "Nice' their factory refurbished and came with all the accesscories,got three pairs for $119.25.. pretty good deal considering their $99.99 ea. new. and they have a 1-yr. warranty. now all I have to do is get some 3-D dvd movies. my blue-ray and flat screen are 2-D, 3-D. If I win anymore GC's my next purchase should be theater seating.

Hi everybody
Haven't been on much because of family illnesses, I am asking for prayer, good wishes...whatever you can spare.....my mother is not recovering as she should from the kidney removal, Drs. can't determine why, she is having a CT to see if they can determine anything....
AND my daughter (mother of 3 young children) has a staph infection, I spent yesterday with her, Dr. had to cut into her 3 inches to try to get rid of the infection from what started as a pimple and turned into a boil (where she sits), put her on antibiotics but went back today and it is spreading and getting worse. They will recheck in 2 days and then she must see a surgeon if it's not getting better. She is so scared, and so am I.

Yeah, All of the triangle shaped covers came unstuck on mine LOL. I think they're kinda cheap quality, i haven't tried any yet although I did plug one in to my phone and it was kinda hard to get it in. Have ya tried one yet?
