Hi all,
I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.
Everyone is welcome!
I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.
This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.
So, I hope it catches on !

Today I was driving to WOK and called home on my cell phone because I had forgotten something. I got a busy signal, so I called back ten minutes later. Hubby said he was on the phone with a man from New York who called to tell me I won the Road to Aspen Sweepstakes.
I just got home. This is my e-mail:

OMG...I am flabbergasted and shakin' in my boots! I had just mentioned to hubby a couple days ago that this would be a fun prize to win. Most of my family still lives in Denver, so I may get to see them too! I can't remember which of my facebook friends first sent me the link to this contest, but a number of us have been sending it back and forth in the last few weeks. Thank you for sharing...and I wanted to share this with my FF friends.

I know there have been lots of winners over the last few weeks. Congrats to you all.
Hub went back to work today after a 5-week layoff. I was just getting used to him being around all the time, but it was a lot of togetherness. We've been planting lots of flowers and a few vegies, and doing stuff around the house. Went to Chicago for Mother's Day weekend and am hoping to see the grandkids in Des Moines soon.
I haven't been in a lucky streak (astrologically speaking) but I did win a $10 Amazon code for free music from the Visa game. I also got my $15 Macy's card and $10 Home Depot card from Total Rewards. Also won the $20 Best Buy prize from them and have one slot to fill on my game board. I would love to go to Vegas some day.
Yesterday, my husband got a $10 Visa card from P&G promo at our local HyVee. He bought a bunch of Tide, which was on sale (plus coupons).
Awhile back I received my 2 women's Bacardi shirts, which I like a lot--nice fit. I gave one of the men's style to my youngest son and kept the other. I also received a cute makeup bag from Target with goodies in it--like last year. I love their makeup bags--perfect size for me.
Husband got $50 bogus bucks to spend on company's employee sale, where particular items are marked down 70%. He told me to get whatever I wanted and threw in $100 more funny money he had left after getting a small air conditioner for one of the bedrooms upstairs. I really wanted some new Skecher sneakers, but my size was sold out. I picked out some Paula Deen Pie Crust Cutters, a couple candle lanterns, a Garden Blooms Velvet ottoman, and a hand-painted leather purse. This came to less than $100 bogus bucks and I still have funny money left.
My trying to diet hasn't been overly successful but I know I lost at least 2 pounds. Well, that was before I had that big bowl of Blue Bunny chocolate ice cream last night. Now I can zip up my shorts, or at least I could yesterday.
I haven't been very consistent with entering contests except Total Rewards, but I get over to Wilton everyday and never know who'll be in first place.
