Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

So, I hope it catches on !

Rocks are good for crocus' in the late winter/early spring, do you have them naturalized in or between your gardens? There are the small early ones, the larger ones that follow and then fall bloomers. Just a thought.
I live on the shore. Most people just have some evergreens, a lot of trees and very few flowers. No grass hardly. We all have these white little stones or reddish and some grey and even some pink instead of lawns. I have my whole front in white stones and there was nothing here as far as landscaping when I bought. My deceased husband loved to garden. He said I got the water that I love and he was going to plant. Unbelievable these little trees/shrubs (now over 100) are now tremendous. A lot of work pruning and keeping under control size wise. He made a large center "island" of shrubs in the center of the front and little areas under the windows and on the sides. My back yard is "L" shaped going straight across the back and then the bottom of the "L" is at the water to the left.. and the whole big back yard is grass with the stones on both sides of the house meeting the grass. WEEDS love to grow in the stones. They love it. So many varieties. Have to spray, pull and curse every day.

Forgot - the rabbits I guess dug out all my tulip and daffodil bulbs about 2 years ago. I separated the ones they left me but they took most of them. I have a lot of lavendar plants, azeleas, bleeding heart, a pear tree, japanese flowering cherry (no cherries) some others and i do not know what crocus are. Will look it up. 2 rose of sharon that make a mess also.

No, not climbing, but they make pots to grow them in, ..a trip to your local garden center and they would probably have them to see/check prices.

I would think you could grow them in lots of diff style pots....make drainage, etc....others will know more than me about it. I've seen pics of them in the hanging bags, etc...but no experience myself

Some strawberries bear fruit in the spring , others are "everbearing"

A lot of times when I enter a contest it's not the grand prize I'm after, but ya have to enter to be in the running for the one you do want.....and it's definitely possible to have to turn down something.

I do think Jem was fortunate that time they let her take the cash...agree with you, don't think most of them do.

hugwishing big wins to all today!
Im going to look at 2 horses todaynod Hoping I like one since they are in my price range and have great bloodlines. They are close by too. It will be hard to find one as good as Tater. Got my bracelet and key chain made from his tail hair in the mail. Made me cry...soo beautiful...has silver slide on beads and a little horse charm...very well done...paid $55 and worth every penny!
