RETIRED Marlboro Outwit the West Funny Farm

228 92 October 16, 2010 at 01:35 PM
Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

So, I hope it catches on !

So pop a beer and pull up a chair and relax !

Great news about your diet working. hug It's so wonderful when your body starts to work the way it's supposed to work.

I'm jealous that you have tomatoes already. There are just blossoms on mine, and a tiny sweet pepper. No rain here in 3 weeks. There has been rain all around me, Mom has had a total of 2 1/2 inches in the last week, ZERO for me and my Uncle who lives about 15 miles away. There was rain yesterday between where we live, but not where we are. Power outage 2 days ago for over 3 hours too.

Good Luck to all!
Same here... April was still way to cold to plant, had temps dropping to freezing or below nights and very little rain. Lots of rain this month... too muddy to get in garden to plant much. I have trays of seedlings waiting to go in.... have to feed my groundhog ! I just have a feeling this isn't going to be a good year for my veggiesnod

Its been hot here and no rain, I have no place to plant a garden cause of two big pecan trees in the back yard, there is hardly any sun back there. I'm also having a problem with little oak trees growing all over the front yard, I did spray them a couple of days ago with strait vinagar with a couple of drops of liquid dishwashing soap and they seem to be turning brown

dose anybody have the secret word for the physicians giveaway

This is to cute now have to tell you about the Belle/Auntie Jeanie saga LOL. My Girls and grand babies first got together with my sister this weekend none of my grandbabies have ever met her. All the grandbabies welcomed her with hugs and kisses except Belle. She acted shy and wouldn't have anything to do with her. Well Jeanie is staying with me and Belle had to come back here today because weekend over. So she comes in and goes into my bedroom (I'm already up in other room) and yells "your not my grandma where is she?" LOL Anyway within 1/2 hour of my sister being weird and acting out with Belle, Belle was laughing so hard and now will not leave her alone. She is just in love with her. Jeanie asked her "Am I weirder than your grandma?" Belle says no. LOL I Love It
rofl.. she didnt lie eh..
thxveas and everyone else that posted links..

Here's a tid-bit of useless trivia. "Some" oak trees (and weeds) like an acidic soil. Spraying vineagar on them will certainly wilt the leaves, and may not kill them,, but can also promote growth.nod

I had groundhog stew once... it was really good !! I usually give em to a guy who really likes em. Last one I shot,, I hit him in the neck while he was standing, bullet came out the back but didn't kill him. I let the dog out and he punished it a bit !. Still alive when I pryed the dog off of it. I called this guy and told him I had a fresh one to drop off. I bagged it and took it to him.... we were chit chatting and he noticed the bag was rustling around... He said ""HEY ! this thing's still alive"" I said " I told ya it was fresh "LMAOLMAO
