RETIRED Marlboro Outwit the West Funny Farm

228 92 October 16, 2010 at 01:35 PM
Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

So, I hope it catches on !

So pop a beer and pull up a chair and relax !

Blondeey, I bought more than 1 harness and seat belt lead for Reno as he was growing....I bought the harness and seat belt lead together....but if you have a good harness on your dog with the ring at the top, then all you need to buy is the seat belt lead(it goes in the seat belt connector and then snaps to the ring on the back of the dogs neck)

The seat belt lead is adjustable......

Not exactly. You have to guess whats in the present and swap until you get one you want. But you cant tell whats in the box. Hope its not Schrodinger's cat!!! Thing has got to be dead by now!!! vomit You gotta pay attention or someone will swap their present with yours. When you run out of swaps you get whatever is in the one you end with. Only thing I want is $$$$$ Another all day Camel game where you may or may not get something!!!!
Maybe I'll get Popps earphones??? EEK!
How many swaps do you actually get. My swap number kept changing. Do you always get the prize you have? When do you know that you get a prize when you keep swapping. See, that is what i do not understand. Do you always get a prize at the end? no, that does not seem right.

Not sure how it works. Very confusing. People can take your present and give you theirs

The leads I saw today were long and the 3 of them will jump all over each other and become tangled I think. And they could hurt themselves and each other. I don't know. Thanks. They pull and cough with the harnesses and I have the good ones that go around them in 2 places. I have a soft "cage" which will hold 2 of them but I need another. Fuzzy is 24 lbs or around that and petsmart said they hold up to 20 lbs. I can put guido and daisy in the one I have together but it has no handle. It is kind of a bed with a dome top.
I got mine new off Ebay...quite reasonable..xs p to xl I believe.

The lead is adjustable , you really don't have to have it any longer that what is needed for the dog to be in a sitting position. They shouldn't be able to move around a lot....just like a child in a car seat. Keeps them safe.

With small dogs you should be able to have them pretty well contained to one spot....and they wouldn't reach each other.

It is not good. the harnesses have a 2-3 ft. lead on it like a leash and the 3 of them will hop all over each other and get tangled. I just don't know. I will try one maybe and see how it works, but petsmart is totally out. Of i get it there at least i can return it.
You can keep the 2 small ones in the carrier and use the seat belt harness on the bigger one. Not sure what kind of vehicle you have but some have a harness hitch you can get that you can clip their lead to.

I am ready to shoot my brains out. Your list keeps flashing in and out and when I do get to click on something, last night and as always it would go right back to your list. Now it takes me to a blank page and I have to go all the way out of your list and find the last game i just played. Something bad happened here. What can i do??

I am thoroughly confused by this one.

Perhaps I'll read the rules... Nah.

I had thought FB was a relatively safe place to enter contests but got curious about it from something Kim Komando wrote, so I did some searching. I was prompted by the fact that many have been having computer issues over the last several months. Here is one article. If interested, you can search further for info on this topic. I know I'm going to be a little more careful in the future.

5 years old is ancient in computer times!! Was time to get a new one! My son used to repaire computers for people and he gave me all his recovery disks for operating systems from windows 85 to Vista. Just got rid of every thing except XP and Vista just in case I need them but I wont do the others anymore. If the system is that old its time to buy a new one. I want to wait a couple of years and baby this along til the new technology thats coming out this fall isnt new anymore and the prices fall some. Instead of silicon its going to crystal and will be up to 500 times faster and hold so much more info and be very small tower. Great changes coming. Will have to learn all over again but thats progress! Out of everything my 98 year old grandma saw in her life, she said the greatest invention was the washer and dryer!!!! Saved days on work for her and she got to use the old wringer washer to dehull black walnuts!!!
According to my father, the greatest invention was radio. Everything else came from that - TV, computers, etc. Who knows? I do know my grandmother HATED the wringer washer but it was such an improvement over NO washer that she lived with it.

I felt no guilt dumping the old computer I had. It would have been nice if I could have babied it along until the next generation came on the market, but by the time the bugs are worked out, I'd only have been able to load one web page an hour. I'll take soon-to-be-obsolete over non-working any day. bounce

I still think they will pull like they do walking on the leash - they are used to running free in the yard and barking out the windows. I think I will wait until petsmart gets more things in and try some out. they are really nervous little dogs who go back and forth across the back seat if it is just for a short ride. They fall asleep for the long rides.
I cleared my internet browser, did a scan and shut down and now it is working. Hope it will be ok. Always something. wave Edit - just came back to ask were you updating your page? could this be what happened to me. Whoever taught me to Edit my posts should be shot, right?

I really don't feel that they should require a cell phone number. I noticed Rockport did in their newest sweep.
