RETIRED Marlboro Outwit the West Funny Farm

228 92 October 16, 2010 at 01:35 PM
Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

So, I hope it catches on !

So pop a beer and pull up a chair and relax !

Thanks. The instructions didn't work because I can't even find the the first thing to do - Edit Profile, but just knowing that it was possible to do it easily was enough. I dug through a bunch of stuff and finally found a listing of all the pages. There's no pop-up to delete them, but I can do it fairly easily from the list. And anything is better than going page by page. So thanks for letting me know that there really is a solution to the problem.bounce

OUCH....You're tough.
But I had only been in my facebook account once until LP called me about that contest. I will certainly check in and look at my messages at least once a week from now on. I only use it for sweeps and would also like to know how to delete all that accumulated junk in the account.
The instructions given to me above didn't work -- I don't know if they're old or new or what, but if you can find your "Likes" page, you can find a click link for "other pages." (see first picture below) That will give you a list of all the ones you've liked. Put your cursor over one of them and you'll see a picture of the page (kind of). Then hold your cursor over the "Like" button and eventually you'll see a drop down box where, if you go to the end, you can click "unlike." (see second picture below) You'll have to refresh the page to see that it's been removed. Still a long process, but better than having to go to each page.

Still debating on getting a pool. Know I'll kick myself if I dont but hate to kill the grass!!! Sister says the blow up ones arent big enough but if I can sit up to my nech and stretch out Im fine! Son bought one at a garage sale that they advertise on TV if you have your own land. Paid $10 for a 20 foot wide and 4 1/2 feet deep. He had to put it on a slope so one end could be shallow enough for the 7 year old to stand in it!!! Got a great deal. The sides are metal and it has a liner. I told him to get some sand to put under the liner so the bottom is soft
Yeah, Mine is certianly not a "swimming" pool, but its plenty big enough for a few adults to get in, and float around in Smilie or lots of kids to play in LOL - Its 18' round, 4' high. It sure helps with my back, no gravity, no weight, no pain Smilie

My SIL bought her parents house. Since she was the baby of the family, she never had to do any "chores". Didn't take long before the manicured lawn was overgrown, weeds up 4-5ft along the fence, she wouldn't run the snowblower or lawn tractor with the plow to clear the driveway... she bought a Jeep instead,, and the once amazing in-ground pool quickly was filled with green slime... looked like the cement pond at the Jak-ShackSmilie Rather than spend any time or effort on the pool, she had a co. come in, dig up all the slab apron, dump it in the pool, push the sides in and have it filled with dirt !!!!!!!
Hey now!!! ROFLMAOOO

Blonde - when i first moved in I can see my neighbor's really BIG inground pool from my upstairs bathroom window. While looking out I saw what I thought was a live animal running frantically in the pool drowning. I called him at work and he went hysterical as it was the little self-cleaning robut cleaning away doing its thing.LMAO
ROFLMAOOO Thats is good, Blondette Big Grin
