RETIRED Marlboro Outwit the West Funny Farm

Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

So, I hope it catches on !

So pop a beer and pull up a chair and relax !

FREEBIE ALERT!!!

Free LancrOne Cosmetic Brush Set - Facebook

http://www.afreebieempire.com/LancrOne.php

I got one, easy, says you get a matching case for them if you share, but there's no way that I can tell to share....anyone know how?
Accidently closed my browser and took forever to get back on....be careful with this one, after I posted I found a pop up window wanting a cell phone # in order to win a years worth of cosmetics....DON'T DO IT! Is a subscription that will charge $9.99 a month. I did enter for the brushes......don't know if that's legit now either though.

Take a picture of the one you won and you can earn extra points too. Did you say you refilled your bag when it was empty. Not gonna pay $24 for another bag to do 1/2 the front yard when I can buy the same stuff for $45 and do 5 times as much!!! How do I refill the bag??? From the bottom or do I need to slice along the top and fill that way. I got man's best frind (duct tape!!) laugh out loud
Just slice carefully the top off and you can refill it that way. The bag is stiff so it will stand up on its own. If the bag you bought is heavy and large, scoop it in so it does not go all over. Should be ok. One thing I was concerned about is that on the bottom of the bag where the mechanical part is on the spreader it hooks up to a part on the bag and they said that the part on the bag controls the amount it disburses. but I put in different kinds of stuff and it seemed ok. So watch that it does not spread what you put in too much (maybe you are using the exact same thing i.e. fertilizer, seed, as the bag that is in there? good luck

For now Im using the weed and feed. Need to kill the nasty stuff before I can plant the good stuff! Cant seem to kill the winter creeper though. That stuff is hardy!! Looks pretty but takes over everything and chokes it out! Dont want it in the grass but it would look nice climbing a wall

Won a Water Bottle from CocoaVia (arv $20). I'm feeling lucky this month. 2 ea 50 cent wins from Kroger, rec'd the Snow White and the Huntsman shirt on Saturday (none for my Niece yet-darn-I'm just KNOW that I'm going to give her this shirt, and I really like it-hope she gets one today), and the 1000 MCR win Saturday early morning.
This year, I've been entering a few more of the Sweepstakes to see what will happen. It's so inspiring to read about all of your big wins-keep it up!

Good Luck to all!

Why I'm Divorced

Last week was my birthday and I didn't feel very well waking up on that morning.

I went downstairs for breakfast hoping my husband would be pleasant and say, 'Happy Birthday!', and possibly have a small present for me.

As it turned out, he barely said good morning, let alone
' Happy Birthday.'

I thought....well, that's marriage for you, but the
kids.... they will remember.

My kids came bouncing down stairs to breakfast and
didn't say a word. So when I left for the office I felt pretty low and
somewhat despondent.

As I walked into my office, my handsome boss Rick, said,
'Good morning, lady, and by the way Happy Birthday!' It felt a little
better that at least someone had remembered.

I worked until one o'clock, when Rick knocked on my door
and said, 'You know, It's such a beautiful day outside, and it is your
birthday, what do you say we go out to lunch, just you and me.'

I said, 'Thanks, Rick, that's the greatest thing I've
heard all day. Let's go!'

We went to lunch. But we didn't go where we normally
would go. He chose instead a quiet bistro with a private table. We had
two martinis each and I enjoyed the meal tremendously.

On the way back to the office, Rick said, 'You know,
It's such a beautiful day...we don't need to go straight back to the
office, do we?'
I responded, 'I guess not. What do you have in mind?'

He said, 'Let's drop by my place, it's just around the
corner.'

After arriving at his house, Rick turned to me and said,
'If you don't mind, I'm going to step into the bedroom for just a
moment. I'll be right back.'

'Ok.' I nervously replied.

He went into the bedroom and, after a couple of minutes,
he came out carrying a huge birthday cake, followed by my husband, my
kids, and dozens of my friends and co-workers, all singing 'Happy
Birthday'.

And I just sat there....

on the couch....

naked.

No, 1000 MCR points. Smilie
I'm still pretty excited about the points though. In October/November, when they have the annual sale, I've been able to cash out for $50 in gift cards for 1000 MCR points. Right now, they're worth $25.
