UPS delivered part of my Wonderful pistachio win yesterday, got the t-shirt (cheap), sunglasses (cheap) and backpack (very nice, with padded computer sleeve). What I didn't receive yet....the case of pistachios!!!! But did get an email saying they have been ordered, that's what I'm looking forward too.

Just slice carefully the top off and you can refill it that way. The bag is stiff so it will stand up on its own. If the bag you bought is heavy and large, scoop it in so it does not go all over. Should be ok. One thing I was concerned about is that on the bottom of the bag where the mechanical part is on the spreader it hooks up to a part on the bag and they said that the part on the bag controls the amount it disburses. but I put in different kinds of stuff and it seemed ok. So watch that it does not spread what you put in too much (maybe you are using the exact same thing i.e. fertilizer, seed, as the bag that is in there? good luck

My sister just emailed me. For those who don't track my winnings (although I'm sure many of you write them in your diaries), I got 4 tickets to the new Disney Car Land pre-opening bash on Thurday, June 14th.

I had them transfer the tickets to my nephew so he could go with one of his brothers and two of his friends. He's the only one in the group with a driver's license.

Well he pulled/tore a tendon yesterday playing football and can't make the drive now. There's no one else who can do it on a weekday. Over $350 worth of tickets down the drain.

Does anyone here want them? I know full well that most of you don't live in SoCal, but if any of you do and want them, let me know. PLEASE. I just hate to see a win turn into a lose.

Well good afternoon everyone, won another months supply of Dole Gel cups last night and got my second win of them in the mail yesterday. Won a Water Bottle from CocoaVia (arv $20). I'm feeling lucky this month. 2 ea 50 cent wins from Kroger, rec'd the Snow White and the Huntsman shirt on Saturday (none for my Niece yet-darn-I'm just KNOW that I'm going to give her this shirt, and I really like it-hope she gets one today), and the 1000 MCR win Saturday early morning.

why i'm divorced

last week was my birthday and i didn't feel very well waking up on that morning.

I went downstairs for breakfast hoping my husband would be pleasant and say, 'happy birthday!', and possibly have a small present for me.

As it turned out, he barely said good morning, let alone
' happy birthday.'

i thought....well, that's marriage for you, but the
kids.... They will remember.

My kids came bouncing down stairs to breakfast and
didn't say a word. So when i left for the office i felt pretty low and
somewhat despondent.

As i walked into my office, my handsome boss rick, said,
'good morning, lady, and by the way happy birthday!' it felt a little
better that at least someone had remembered.

I worked until one o'clock, when rick knocked on my door
and said, 'you know, it's such a beautiful day outside, and it is your
birthday, what do you say we go out to lunch, just you and me.'

i said, 'thanks, rick, that's the greatest thing i've
heard all day. Let's go!'

we went to lunch. But we didn't go where we normally
would go. He chose instead a quiet bistro with a private table. We had
two martinis each and i enjoyed the meal tremendously.

On the way back to the office, rick said, 'you know,
it's such a beautiful day...we don't need to go straight back to the
office, do we?'
i responded, 'i guess not. What do you have in mind?'

he said, 'let's drop by my place, it's just around the
corner.'

after arriving at his house, rick turned to me and said,
'if you don't mind, i'm going to step into the bedroom for just a
moment. I'll be right back.'

'ok.' i nervously replied.

He went into the bedroom and, after a couple of minutes,
he came out carrying a huge birthday cake, followed by my husband, my
kids, and dozens of my friends and co-workers, all singing 'happy
birthday'.

And i just sat there....


On the couch....
