RETIRED Marlboro Outwit the West Funny Farm

Hi all,
I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.
Everyone is welcome!
I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.
This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.
So, I hope it catches on !
So pop a beer and pull up a chair and relax !

Jem--Happy Belated Birthday!!
Blondee--Try to be careful & slow down a bit, for your own good.
Has anyone seen the Dancing Leprechaun ( fstate ) around lately? Haven't seen a post from him in a long time.
Lizardo--What luck!! Glad you had and are having a great time. Congrats!!
Will try to acknowledge more as I go along.........
Remember I told you about the brouhaha caused by my not giving a shoe GC to one of her sons' family? The one with the really young children? Because my sister felt sooooo bad about their being left off the list I said sure, take the latest GC, $50 for Eastbay, and give it to them. It's not like I wanted it for myself and anything to keep peace even though the children are so young and will outgrow the shoes in a few months.
So I got the GC and sent her the numbers to pass on to her son Ned. Today I get an email telling me:
"I saw the word "EastBay" and thought, "WAIT A MINUTE! That is the site that sells MY shoes." And they have a pair of DC shoes under $50 that I can use. Should I use this card and use the next one for Ned?"
Mind you, she knows full well that what I give her is hers or she can distribute them. It's always been her choice. So I told her:
"As far as I'm concerned, you have first pick. The cards are yours to distribute/use as you see fit. When it comes to shoe gift cards, I get them, you dump them."
So after all the gnashing of teeth because Ned's family hadn't been on the list, she's keeping the GC for herself. Now I'll be expected to get yet another one to keep Ned's family happy. I'm telling you, I can't win, even when I do win.
I had to have a sit-down with a few family members about treating me like Stretch Armstrong (dating myself). Might be the way to go, just so there's an understanding.
Thanks
Thanks
Everyone TC & HAWD!!

WooHoo!!! The kids are gonna be happy!! I gave them my DVD collection of Harry Potter and a bunch of scary movies and they ate Pizza and had fun!!! Thanks. The kids Im giving them to have had a rough time the past few years. Their mom had brain surgery and had complications and their dad had to quit work and take care of her and the kids so they have had no money for anything extra. Shes doing well enough now so he has gone back to work t his dads lumber yard but they are still just getting back on their feet.
Cindy is just one of the many nice peeps here on SD.
Thanks Cindy.
