Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

When it's cold, she sleeps next to my stomach under the covers and when it's not cold she sleeps with her back against my face. I sit to read, she's on my lap. It's been that way for the sixteen years she's been with me. It's hard to lose a friend like that. Thanks for understanding.

Im having such a hard time. Technology passed me by so long ago!!! Computers I get (except that they are about to change again!) and TV's Im learning. Want a kick a$$ stereo that plays MP3's, CD's, I-Pod dock, radio, usb port and needs to have a audio-in TOSLink port so I can Play my TV and blow away the deaf neighbors!!!! Any help would be appreciated!!! Ive spent days (months) trying to find something under $300 (preferably unger $250. My man-cave/tarp is soooo incomplete and I dont seem to be winning the stuff to complete it!!! I have a Blue-ray player/DVR so I dont need that. This is the TV I want to hook it to.

Don't look at me for help. I found out about a month ago that my TV still works. Hadn't turned it on in like 3 years. Also found out that I have basic cable through the building. Didn't know that before either. Knowing it works doesn't mean that I use it, though. I just like the idea that it's there for the next earthquake/riot/tsunami/whatever. nod

If you got a 3 year old TV yourre lucky!!! Thats before the stupid Dolby Digital BS that doesnt hook up to a stereo system so that you have to buy a $120 adapter of a new stereo!!! If Im gonna upgrade I guess I want to get a new system that just patch the old one to the TV. Remember the days when dropping $1000 on stereo components was nothing!!!

As long as you have the Blu ray, you should be able to play CDs thru that. I have my OLD stereo connected thru my new TV and CD player dont work, so I just use DVD player for that, Its pretty awesome Smilie Jemmers did it when she was here a few months ago Smilie
Not sure why you would need an MP3 player and a CD player, just convert CDs to MP3s. Yes, Im still Old school, I wasnt giving up my OLD stereo ROFL But I do listen to MP3's alot sitting here on computer. You could just do your I heart radio thing thru computer hooked up to speakers Smilie I almost did it that way,then opted against it.

I can play through that or the XBox but with 10 watt speakers on the TV I might not be able to attract much to the trap!!! I mean cave!!! Plus..... my closest neighbor is half deaf so I can crank it!!! Hard to crank it when youre maxed out just under the sound of the air conditioner!!!

Ive never dropped $1000 on stereo components in my life, so I guess is was nothing. I'm the one who never listens to music. I don't own records or tapes or any of that stuff. But hey -- I've got a TV that works.
