Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

Talked to my dad. Everywhere around them got hit except for them! Came up to 5 blocks from them and the damage stopped so they got lucky! Store is OK but everyone is taking in their watches to get fixed because they got wet or broke so hes really busy today! You'd think if they were to make a $5000 watch they would make it water proof!!! He got in a lot of wet clocks too. He mostly fixes watches but he likes to fix clocks. When I was growing up he would bring them home so he can make sure they are working good before he gives them back so we always had 10 - 20 clocks around. Used to love when they would all start chiming!!!

Me too. As usual he was glad it was over.He says I know more about whats going on than he does. He doesnt keep up on it because he figure what will happen will happen, no use fretting over it until it does happen. Then just deal with it as it comes and do your best. He wont evacuate cause he doesn't want looters but hes scared to get out. He has to use crutches and fears if something happens he cant get out of it. A crowd will trample him and he can swim but has so much metal in him he sinks real bad ( metal hips and rods in legs and ankles) Wont go through TSA either because he sets it off and they have to do strip search. Told him he should go through the new X-ray ones so they understand he has alot of metal but hes afraid a woman might see. When he has to travel for his yearly classes to keep current on new watch technology he goes in 2 hours early and takes his X-Rays and asks to see someone since he know he'll fail the detector. He has to have special seating anyway because his legs dont bend and they are always so nice to help him. He gets a tram ride to the plane and they give him a ride between connecting flights. They call ahead so its all ready for him

Glad you caught it in time. If they inserted it in your leg be careful not to bump that area too much. A friend of mine had that done and over did himself and it ruptured the vein. It swelled up bigger than his head and they had to tourniquet it. Said that hurt worse. Just be careful with it for a while and I hope your feeling better

Yep! Son was 8 yrs old and came home from school, saw a gallon of blue stuff in a milk jug with a polar bear on it and thought I bought him some of that stuff from Coca Cola. It wasnt! It was antifreeze in a milk jug with a polar bear on it!!! I had just bought it from Walmart! He chugged it before he realized it was nasty! rushed him to the hospital so they could pump his stomach (1st of 5 times!! ) They said the cure for the ethanol poisoning was a shot of whiskey!! He asked if he could have the good stuff cause he wanted his first taste of alcohol to not be the icky stuff! Big Grin It saved him from being blind!!! He smelled like a smokey Joe BBQ for a few days though!!! Had his stomach pumped 5 times in all! He learned not to tell the school nurse he wanted to sleep in her office because he didnt feel good because he had food poisoning!!! LOL LMAO
