Holy shit Ginny was here on my birthday and I missed him! Down

Anyway I came to brag that:

1. I fixed my AC all by my own self today. Came home & the compressor was iced over & the heat pump wouldn't blow; melted the ice off the compressor, ran the heat for a minute, flipped it over to cold & BANG, fresh cool air. woot We're still having someone come out but I won't be paying an emergency tech!

2. Got a call from a buddy who asked me to basically set up a network for his business next week. Side work that might lead to a full-time consulting gig FTW! woot

Bea, who is so cautious and avoids any enclosed areas (she'd rather be invisible and where there's an easy escape)...just came into my computer room even though I have a floor fan set up less then 2 feet from me. She had to walk between me and the fan to come in. I was so happy that I put my hand out and she about jumped out of her skin...but then proceeded to continue through. Yahoo! She's becoming much more comfortable and less edgy now that the cats have a different home.

And I got a call from their new slave...I mean the guy who took them in...and they are doing very well. They are good therapy for him.
