I had several people tell me that I did a good job and they appreciated the fact that I didn't tell anyone to "shut up" like some former executive board members have. I didn't let the ranting go one forever but I let them get most of it out and then moved on to the next issue.
In past we had trouble getting people to step up for vacant positions and now we have 7 people interested in being V.P.
All in all...it was a pretty good meeting.
*except for the loud interruption from the ceiling speakers that somehow tied to a soccer game in one of the school's fields and we got to hear a prayer and the calling of players names as the game started. It took about 5 to 10 minutes before we got that shut off.
