So this is a pic of my bird feeder. No idea how the chipmunk got inside since the top is locked down.

How long ago did you buy the bird feeder? Sometimes, chipmunks lay their eggs inside unassembled bird feeders. My guess is, when the feeder was being assembled, a chipmunk egg lied unnoticed. It has since hatched and you have yourself a bonus baby chipmunk! Woot

they're great for stews. very tender meat

I was very disappointed to say the least. I skipped stopping at the grocery and when I got home, he was gone. Now I need to find something else for dinner.
