I've been debating on ordering that coat too. The only coat I have is black though. I hate to order another one. I should have ordered, when ivory was still in stock.

once i get the photos, i will show you guys. i didn't bring my camera so while a lot of photos were taken, i will need to get them from others. i need a new camera.

the code is on a catalog i recently got (that i don't have with me), but it was posted here too. i didn't bother trying it tho, bc i realized with FS, cert, 10 off and free seamless panty, that's just too many codes (damn vs). so i opted to not use the 10 off code.

if it makes you feel any better, that coat sounds like it wouldn't work for you. a lot of reviews said that it's not made for large chested ladies, and i agree. even for my 32c/34b bust, it's a bit tight. it's also wider in the shoulders which works for me but won't work for a lot of ppl. it'd likely be boxy on you if you got it in a size that actually fit your chest (you'd probably have to go up to a M for that). i'm not even sure i want to keep it anymore - while i like the fitted look of the xs, it's a little short on me. i'm trying the s now and can already see the arms being too big. i think the xs is the right size for me for that jacket, but it's just a tad on the short side.

Thanks for the warning on the coat. It definitely doesn't sound like it's for me. I don't have wide shoulders either. Obviously, I need to do a better job reading reviews.

I bought a dress last night that popped up on sale. It was late, & I was too tired to read reviews. It's gone today, so I missed them. I hope I like it.

It depends. I haven't paid much attention to their skirted bottoms. If it's short, with a cute cut & pattern, it would probably look cute on you. If it's black & comes 1/2 way down to your knees, it's probably too much.

F*****CK. i had 2 vs packages stolen. someone keeps stealing my packages!!!! these were worth a lot of $$ but what freakin homeless bum wants my vs bikinis??? grrrrrrr i am so angry right now. the packages were sitting outside for 1/2 an hour to an hour, tops. my next-door neighbor had a box that was sitting on his doorstep for over a week. why are they targetting me??? we told the landlord who did absolutely nothing - not even a note of concern. he seemed instead to want to skirt any and all responsibility.

i swear i had changed my shipping address for all of my orders, but apparently i didn't change it for these orders. what makes it worse is you can't even see your shipping info on vs's site or on the order confirmation emails. how am i supposed to figure out what address i used?

they are just long enough to cover the front, cut a little longer at the back to cover the whole butt. has ruching too.

i'm not convinced because the set will cost me $52. i tried to put together some more sets so i can take advantage of the 20% off code, but most things are oos. thinking of mjr route, which i still consider pricey for returns.

gah that's horrible! I'd be concerned with your wedding coming up too- if people buy stuff off the registry, that's a lot of expensive stuff showing up on your doorstep. Not a lot you can do with an unresponsive landlord besides move, but you may want to get a fake or real security camera to protect the packages you don't know are coming. My parents have this one [amazon.com] . It looks super old school, but it has a motor and actually pans toward the motion it senses. Not to make you even more paranoid, but it's got to be someone that hangs around there a lot - neighbor, neighbor's friend, maintenance, etc. If you could get a visual ID... say set up a webcam in any window that you can aim at your doorstep.... then you would have something to show police. Once it's over $1000, isn't it a feloney? You could also bait them by sending packages of dogsh*t in VS bags to yourself. That would be kind of awesome, but probably not a good idea all around

Holy crap!

So sorry to hear that someone's stealing your packages.

I agree with PP about catching them and sending their sorry asses to jail.

I think maybe you could contact VS first to explain your situation? They could then check your shipping addresses for you or maybe even redirect them to another address. Or maybe contact the post office or post a note by your mail box and ask them to hold your packages for pick up if VS can't change the shipping address.

God, I would be so pissed if this happens to me!

I hope you get it resolve soon.

thanks porda and stardust. i think i need a real surveillance system actually, and am currently researching cameras. i want to know what sick bastard is doing this! i think i should just tape up a box, tape a label on it, and leave it outside and see if anyone will do it. but i need to set up the camera first - there are so many and there's so much learning involved!

i've changed the registry shipping address to my work address and df's parents' place. there's also not much on our registry yet and it doesn't look like anything has been bought yet, so hopefully we're ok there. this is just such a frustrating situation, as i've been getting packages for years and it only started happening this month. and seems to be happening only to me. i'm definitely going to look into filing a police report. i don't want to call vs bc the 2 packages were on 2 separate accounts.

using the 20% codes. gah! i'll call them later but i'm just SO ANNOYED.

i have too much going on to be dealing with theft!! i guess this is the biggest deterrent to stop placing orders.

My DH's grandmother is 94 & obsesses over her hair & makeup.

For my niece, it isn't a race thing. It's about location similar to a Texan displaying the flag of Texas. She lives in the small town where I grew up. People aren't viewed by the color of their skin. I've seen African-Americans with Rebel flags on their vehicles.

For them, it's about being proud of being from the South. They view the history as North vs. South not slavery vs. freedom. I never understood why some people are so emotionally attached to their location, but it's a big deal for most of the people where I'm from. It never occurred to her that people would view it as a racial statement. People where she lives don't. In that sense, they're more progressed than many people in this country. Unfortunately, most of them also think that's the only good place in the world to live & all the good people in the country live there.

So, for each step forward, there's a step back.

I like tankinis too. When it comes to bathing suits, age matters to me. My nieces tried to get me to wear a bikini. I told them I'm too old for that. Like Stardust, I think a lot of people would be better off, if they left more to the imagination.

We put up security cameras, when some jerky kids were stealing outdoor Christmas decorations a few years ago. We don't monitor them, but they do seem to be a good deterrent. We've left boxes outside a week, with no one home.

I was just thinking about that yesterday. She hasn't even replied to my email.

I was going to suggest you get a post office box, but it sounds like you have it covered. Has anyone moved into your building recently, or does anyone have a new friend/girlfriend/boyfriend coming over? Something has changed. It sounds like it's a girl/woman or a man with a new girlfriend, since they're only taking VS packages. I guess it could be a man with a fetish.

Getting surveillance equipment is a good idea. I wouldn't want a thief living in my building. If they would steal packages, they could become more bold & start stealing more expensive things. I'd be worried about a break in. I hope you find out who it is & have them arrested.
