Did I read there's a way to look up reviews at Express for items that are no longer available? I ordered the Halter Cowl Neck Dress in black & white print that is similar to the black & white print in this dress http://www.express.com/strapless-...pro#jsLink. I already have the linked dress, but the cowl neck dress was so cheap I decided to try it. It was about 3 am, so I didn't take time to read reviews. I remember the star rating was a little low, but I took a chance for less than $20. I'd love to find the reviews to read them now. Unfortunately, I don't have an item number, if I need that to look it up. Can I look it up by name?
In any case, I'm glad I didn't send an email to the tenants yet. I still might, but reword it. But now it's looking like it could be a UPS issue? I still am going to try not to order so much, and look into surveillance. I just can't take the stress of not knowing if my stuff is safe. Glad I don't have to call vs now tho.

I had one of the best birthday yesterday. So I did not feel bad for getting a year older now :lmao : DH took me to restaurant, like every year I thought it would be just two of us but then he surprised me with our friends there. I had taken my time to get ready and did not know they were waiting so I felt a little bad that they had to wait for us to arrive.
The restaurant ( Indian) was nice and food was awesome too. DH had cake given to manager already and when we ordered desert the waiters came with cake and played happy bday tune. It was lot of fun.
P.S. - I already have bought gift for my Birthday from India trip. Its 22 carat Gold necklace (really heavy and royal -something that go very well with Indian traditional dress and not to mention it is pricey too :coverlaf : )
I have a friend who missed that memo, she's mid 40's and still wears a thong or tiny bottoms. She goes to the beach with her daughter and I always wonder what the heck is she thinkin? :shake :
oh i also tried on the hi-lo dress [express.com] last night, xs. it fit right, and was surprisingly slimming - i usually dislike dresses with an elastic waist like that because it tends to make me look thicker, but this one didn't. i will probably return it though, bc i don't see myself wearing it. i told myself to choose between that dress and the elastic waist maxi dress [express.com] in black print (also xs), and i can see myself wearing the maxi more bc it's more casual (the fabric). i think it'd be a very comfortable way to travel.
also tried the strapless belted tube dress [express.com] in plum, xs. it's okay - love the belt - but it's not that slimming and is pretty casual. probably going to return just kuz i don't love it, tho i love the color. the alvs/GH strapless ruched dress fits nicer and is more slimming.

Thanks for the reviews. I look more dumpy in dresses with elastic waists too, & I have a pronounced waist. I think it's the style rather than the body type. That didn't stop me from buying the ruffle front elastic waist dress anyway.
speaking of VS, i also got the cross-back dress [victoriassecret.com] in both 4 and 6. as suspected, the 6 was still snug on my waist, but the straps were longer so it sat a bit lower on the waist. if i keep one, i'm keeping the 4 - it's snug but more of the right fit. the 6's straps were too long. (as mentioned previously, the 2 fit also but the straps were too short). i'm not sure if i should keep white or yellow - both have an extra layer of lining in the skirt.
I guess I will be ordering the 2 to try!! Hopefully the waist stays the same! Might be more flattering if the waist would be pulled higher then.

my last 7 or 8 online orders show up on my account. this is promising!! in store there are some issues tho. my last in store purchase did not make it. or at least it doesn't show up. it was only $12 for a jacket, but still. when i was there, they slid my card and asked if my name was XXXXX or nerdgirl. so obviously there is something going on with my express next account... i'm wondering if the other person is getting my in-store points. it's not a big deal to me tho bc i rarely make in-store purchases.

I'd call about the name issue. With identity theft so prevalent, I wouldn't take a chance on that person getting a hold of your other info too.
