I used to think black was fine for weddings too. Unfortunately, both of the weddings I wore black to ended in divorce. All the others are still married. I promised I wouldn't wear black again. laugh out loud

thanks for the opinions!

i'm not a fan of silver shoes with anything other than black for some reason, especially with my skin tone. maybe i feel like they're too light for me! i prefer grey.

I feel like the teal is cool hue and would do better with the first two gray shoes. I like the first pair too b/c it's like the dress- a little covered (at the heel), but a still light (straps in the front). IMO, gray is an almost-neutral like tan... JMO, but I don't think the sequin of the cardigan doesn't necessarily add a color, just textural interest. The last two shoes I would pair with warmer colors- red/orange/browns/reddish purples.

For the Express ladies, how often does Express do the Buy On Get One 50% off?

I saw some sweaters I like and I really wanna pick them up ASAP. I know there was a BOGO like just last week and the last time there was something was in early July. Is it a monthly thing? Trying to decide if I should just wait til early September or something.

Don't want to risk it going OOS like these other cute sweaters I JUST saw.

I've never tried the cardigans from the Loft. There isn't one around me, so I would be afraid to buy and have it not fit. I usually only go for anything V-neck. So I don't usually look elsewhere than VS and Express. laugh out loud shake head
