Agreed. Now I ask for split checks from the beginning- even if it's just to knock the number of orders on the check down to 5 or less (10+ single checks being a lot to ask out of a server). Haha, I'm going to try to make plans to have dinner with my in-laws. DH is resisting Whip

Thanks, you girls keep me strong Flex It's at a Tavern (read YardHouse style). Day before the wedding, they're having a Happy Hour to welcome their out of town guests- apps will be served, drinks aren't mentioned so I'm guessing none. That lasts for 2 hours, then there are dinner reservations for the Bridal party & Immediate family at the same restaurant. Entrees aren't bad ($15-25), but it's the principle of the matter to me.

This is c/p from the email: - Dinner for Wedding Party: 7:00 if you would like to attend (consider bringing cash for easier splitting of checks)

Sorry for the confusion... I'm talking about a dinner after the rehearsal for just the bridal party and immediate fam. Us and our friends seem to have a mix of tradition and new ways for funding weddings, I think b/c we've all been 25+ when we got married. Most couples I know pay for the wedding themselves and parents chip in a little bit if they can (rehearsal dinner, photographer, etc.) . My in-laws stepped in and paid for our rehearsal dinner- which included all of the out of towners (almost like a 2-family reunion). Very sweet of them, we hadn't expected that and were ready to pay for it ourselves.

If she asks you again, tell her you do not recall. You have purchased several things in the last few months. Along with being preoccupied with your real life and her wedding, you cannot keep up with where you purchased her shower gift.

OMG the one in Chicago is 2 floors. It takes me forever to look at everything. I'd get lost in that one!

I didn't look at everything. There was too much! I skipped the bottom floor, and just looked at the top 3. I spent 20 minutes walking around the store. I wasn't in the shopping mood but I knew id regret not at least going inside. It helped that everything seemed pricey.for f21.

big store in chicago is a pain to shop. it's so big plus there is a line at the fitting room and they only allow six items. i have to try on everything i buy there because of their shitty return policy. you can find cuter things in the bigger stores. plus they move merchandise faster so it doesn't get as beat up as the other stores.

Thanks for the beauty.com link. I just stocked up on my st tropez mousse. I also ordered some peter thomas roth conditioner. we got samples in the hotel at chicago and i love it.
