Oh yeah, the Liz Lange line at target is great. I always want to buy pieces from that line, until I go closer and find out it's maternity. Lol.

Here is a cute site for nice maternity clothes. Just a warning, no matter how cute it is now, you'll hate it in a few months so only buy a little Teehee.

hahah totally true. the target line is at a good price point too bc you really don't want to spend too much $$ on it.

i've been thinking - now that hi-lo dresses are in - would it be in poor taste to buy a regular empire waist dress as a maternity hi-lo dress? Coverlaugh

nice cheap skirt [express.com] - does not control or hide the tummy area, but great fit everywhere else, nice length. will just wear untucked.

nice shrug [express.com] - have it in stone first. have the black now too. and you all know i don't like duplicates, but i think i'll make an exception on this.

yeah. only went to the actual beach once although the hotel was right on it. ds really likes the pool better than the beach, so that's where we were most of the times. it was very sad when we left. ds had a very great time since the hotel had kid activities too. so he was in tears in the last few minutes we have in the pool, and had several episodes of tears while on our way home. it was not a brat-crying, just extreme sadness : ( my heart was breaking :weeping :
Poor little man. Frown Hopefully, you can take him back soon. You all got out of there just in time.

I know someone here wasn't too crazy about this [express.com] dress, but it's one of my favorite everyday dresses. It's very loose and comfortable, and I don't have to worry about length with the XS. I have it in pink and purple and want it in the tulle if it goes down in price a bit more. I would wear it with the cocoon [express.com]coverup, which is light and breathable. This is probably the longest "short" dress that I have from express, and I am definitely getting my use out of it.
Thanks for the suggestion. Do you think it would be comfortable to wear on a tour with a group of older people? It appears most people on our cruise will be in the retired age bracket. Wink I'm kind of concerned about what they would think about it being strapless. I don't want to be the talk of the group for the rest of the cruise. Stick Out Tongue I could wear a cover-up in the churches, but it may be too hot to wear it all the time. I heart the plum color.

That dress may actually work for you then. I would give it a try and just return if you think it's questionable. And yes, that definitely makes sense about the dress code.
Thanks again for the help. You've convinced me to look for a maxi dress. I'm having a hard time finding a petite maxi that my DH doesn't laugh at when I show him the pic. He must not be a fan. laugh out loud I'm still going to try one, if I can find one I really like.

This picture was at my 12 week scan, and he was freaking kicking the poop out of me! Last week, when the doctor did a quick scan to check on his heart... she asked me if I would like her to "guess" the baby's gender... and she said.... Boy!!! I have three weeks until my anatomy scan in which we'll know for sure... But usually, I heard when they guess boy... it's pretty accurate... so no cute little dresses for my little one...although I threaten I'll put a dress on "him" regardless! lol I'm still holding on to hope though! ; ) Although DBF is freaking elated!

On a shopping note... anyone know where I can get some maternity clothes? Not many options... and I have a wedding to go to next month too! :rolleyes :
I'm so glad you checked in. I've been thinking about you. It appears you've been busy, since you checked in last. Wink This is exciting news! I'm so happy for you. woot Keep us updated on your progress. We miss you. hug

Thanks for the reviews. That skirt is obviously not for me. Embarrassment I'm going to order that cover-up in stone. I already bought the Sunray Rib Cover-up http://www.express.com/sunray-rib...crumb=true in black. I'll let you all know what I think about it, when I get around to trying it on.

Congrats, Classy! hug

I've not had had the opportunity to purchase maternity clothes, but imagine I'd buy from Loft, Old Navy/Gap and some of Liz Lange's line at Target.
Thanks Wuzzle! None of our stores that I thought would carry maternity clothes, Loft, Old Navy/Gap carries maternity clothes around here within an hour distance!. Sadwalk With Old Navy and Gap online, I'm a bit hesitate to buy now, as they don't allow to return in store...and no free return by mail. Stinks! Even our Target line isn't that big... I managed to find one pair of leggings there that was for maternity! Thanks

Quote from nerdgirl :
Omg cg congrats!!! That is amazing!!

I wonder if she guessed boy because of a faster heart rate. There's still a chance for all those cute little dresses! Boys are sweet tho - they just aren't as fun to dress up.
Confused I heard it was the opposite? That the fast the heart rate, it was more likely a girl, because supposedly girl's have a faster metabolism? Apparently though, that's only a big wive's tale though.... unfortunately. Frown For fun... I've also looked on the Chinese gender prediction calendar, did the baking soda test, and the bleach test, and the funny part was... it all indicated girl... so... fingers still cross!

Congrats Classy...soo exciting!

What promo?
Thanks

Congrats! I'm sooo happy for yall!

Maternity clothes suck. Loft and Gap have them I think.
Oh I've noticed how poopy the selection is. Sadwalk Just wondering if there's a secret maternity line somewhere... or somewhere I've over looked!

I don't know if anyone here is interested, but ModCloth [modcloth.com] is having their last hurrah sale. There are lots of cute dresses for really cheap.
