Last night we had our first Bridesmaid chat. It was over 3 hours long. Faint I wanted to shoot myself. Everyone was wishy washy including the MOH. MOH is supposed to run it. She had an agenda and didn't even use it. I think I'm going to run these from now on so I am not wasting 3+ hours wanting to kill myself.

We decided Bridal shower + bachelorette at the same day. MOH had many complaints about how we could "do better" but time is limited and it's during Dec, where people would have to go to company parties and such.

I am excited to go horseback riding for the bachelorette party! Bridal shower is going to be a Garden theme done for very cheap at a BM's house.

Anyone have any good bridal shower PG games? There's a guess the Herb, which is cool. People shot down my board game idea.

We've also decided that we don't want to buy a BM dress from a BM dress company and will probably shop at Limited, Loft, Express or something like that so hopefully some good dress colors will come up for the fall season and with a good deal! Looking for something from $50-$100 max.

I guess I'm already feeling anxious with all this crap piling up and other commitments I already have. Faint

The last bridal shower I went to only had one game. They printed out empty bingo cards and then you had to write down 25 gifts that you thought the bride would receive. Then as she opened gifts, she would say what she got, and if you had picked that you crossed it off the list. Once you had 5 in a row, you yelled bingo and you could then pick out a gift bag.

I have been to one where you split every into teams. Then they designate one person on their team to be the "bride". Each team tries make a wedding dress out of toilet paper. The real bride picks the winning dress.

Is the bride allowing you all to pick your dresses? If so, she must be a really easy bride to work with.

Don't let it get to you. hug You'll have enough stress over your own wedding. Let the bride do the stressing this time. Stick Out Tongue Everything always works out fine in the end as long as everyone is flexible.

I usually don't like playing games at showers, but the bingo game sounds like fun.

Yes, she sort of is allowing us to pick our own dresses. We have guidelines we must follow and she gets the last word.

Thanks, I'll try to be more patient about it. It's just really frustrating when the MOH just shrugs her shoulders VERY SLOWLY when we ask her questions. It's like talking to a brick wall.

They work like express cash. You get 1 for every $50 you spend. They are good for $25 off a $50 future purchase. They can be stacked too. You can use them online and instore. The codes are one time use now though.
