It doesn't look like the mesh cover-up is going to be restocked. It's in clearance. I appears I missed out on the stone color. Sadwalk

We're going on the weekend, unfortunately. At a super busy place in the heart of LA. Le Sigh. I hope no alterations will be needed and definitely won't let them do mine!

I honestly think that it will work with any skin. Would you be able to make it out to a Sephora to try on some nail color in those shades?

Do you have a CVS by you? Sometimes they have 25% off purchase coupons and you can use that to get the Essie polish, but it's not too bad, around $8.50 is what I usually pay.
It's funny that you're not happy about going to the heart of LA. I'd love to go there. A crowded weekend would work for me. laugh out loud Even though many of us love where we live, we rarely appreciate it the way a visitor does. When I was growing up in NC, I thought there was nothing to do. Now that I've been away for awhile, I realize what a great state it is to visit.

We have CVS, but more Walgreens. Walgreens is on every corner. Rolleyes CVS is a couple miles away. I'll try to remember to look for the coupon. Since I don't go out often, I rarely think to look at coupons. Thanks for the tip.

Thanks! I'm really trying for an A. If I earn an A then I will have completed with exactly a 3.0 but a
B will drop be down below that. I only have about 3 points worth of wiggle room right now unless she decides to curve the midterm. The class average was a 60%. I got a 67% and studied harder than I have in a long time because I really want this A. When I asked she said she wasn't going to though. : (
Fingers crossed that she changes her mind. hug

I think it's because I've read how crappy the service is at those two wedding dress stores my friend wants to go to. So I'm not excited about that at all. On another note, one of the BMs agreed with me about how terrible the BM dresses the bride is selecting, so she said just to keep quiet and just watch her the day of dress trying-on and her reactions. So we'll see. shake head

LA is okay, unless I have something specific I want to do or go somewhere to eat, it's really a pain. laugh out loud Parking is nearly impossible or park for like an extremely high fee and there's so many cars and some of the roads are bad. For a visitor, it's nice to take them around, but I like being out in the suburbs! Parking is free for one!

I don't have any Walgreens near where I live. I've seen like one my entire life, and this was by my old job.

This thread has been dead lately. Where is everyone?

I wouldn't want to have to drive & park in the traffic either. That's the good thing about being a tourist, instead of a local. Tourists can stay in a hotel & walk or have someone else do the driving. Good luck with the dress shopping. I hope you find something fabulous & cheap.

Of course, there's no Walgreen's there. They're all on every corner here. People around here must have an unusually high need for pharmaceutical products & candy. shake head

Doing anything fun this weekend?

We are moving DS back to his college apartment from his work apartment, thank goodness it is an easy small move as he only took a inflatable air mattress, small desk, folding chair, clothes, bedding and toiletries.

Not really! We're going to finish cleaning out our closet, & getting rid of never worn clothes. We may go to the beach on Sunday, but it depends on whether or not we get the work done around here. I'm glad you won't have to work too hard moving him in.

Oh no! I found another dress I want. Facepalm http://www.express.com/ruched-ros.../index.pro I must resist! I already have more dresses than I can wear. Plus, I have a few that are made just like it. It's too bad that this color would look better on me than the colors I have. Since I already bought shoes to go with the others, I'm pretty much stuck with them. I need to stop looking, but I can't seem to resist. Blush

Been kind of crazy summer. Moved DS form college apartment to job apartment, moved DD to DS college apartment to work for summer, moved DD form DS apartment and the rest of her stuff here to her college apartment. Now to move DS back to his job apartment back to college apartment, does that have you confused, lol.

Isn't There A Walgreens At Colima And Fullerton? But Yeah In Your Area There's Not Much. I Have A Few Around ME.
Sorry For The Caps. My Phone Is Being Weird.

There's A Good Store In Orange That I Went To. Highly Recommend It. Great Service. It's Called Mary Me Bridal. I Drove All The Way Down There Like 3 Times To Try On Dresses.

The One Time I Went To Downtown I Got A Parking Ticket. =_=

Downtown la Per hour by meter has gone up to as much as $4 per hr if you're unlucky. Otherwise the avg is $2-3 per hr. flat rate lots are usually about $7. If youre spending a lot of time there i would just park in the lot. Hope you guys find some good dresses. Remember to haggle Smilie
