RETIRED Marlboro Outwit the West Funny Farm

228 92 October 16, 2010 at 01:35 PM
Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

So, I hope it catches on !

So pop a beer and pull up a chair and relax !

1 tbls per gallon of water for small plants. add an extra tbls per gallon for every foot tall your plants are. If your tomato plants are 2 ft tall,, use 2 tbls per gallon. How much you water them with the mix depends on how much they need. You need enough to soak all the way to the roots.

I went to the yearly 4th of July party next door and tried to stall so we would not go to the fireworks on the bay in the boat, but we went. Did half of the trip going out in the dark but with all the boats and shoreline and full moon it was kinda light. Because I stalled is why we left near dark. Should have left by 6:30 or so. So they were nice and then i got nervous coming back. There were not nearly as many boats as last year probably because people had work today and that party boat was not there which was nice last year. So now we need the spotlight all the way back. Last year it died because it took so long to get home so I was going to be well prepared. Ordered and received a 2nd one, charged it for 18 hrs. Looked in the bag I brought and only had one. I left the 2nd one on the charger at home. I got all upset. But it just about made it. The really hard part is when these really big boats pass us so close at a high speed as we all have to stay in the channel and then trying to see the channel buoys and markers. The gps has marks but you must see the buoys. So the boat in front of us hit one green marker and it was one we did not see so he just skimmed it and then we saw it. So I am safe.

I did not do that. I poured the solution and then watered them good afterwards. There are so many and I made so many gallons and carried them to each plant. I guess it got some, but the tomatoes in the pots got what they were supposed to. Only used 1 tbs. So in 2 weeks or so I will do it with 2 and will not try to do so many plants in one day. thanks. bbl

Just sprinkle some around your container plants, then everytime you water,, which in this heat should be 3X a day,, your plants will get a little "taste" of the epsom salt !!

Anyone know anything about flat irons??? Is this a good one?? I want one (cant seem to win one) Probably only use it once in a while to put curls in my hair. My hair is thick and almost down to my waist again, no thanks to the Demon scissors incident last year! Dont know why it grow this fast! I have little to no damage to it now and want to keep it that way. Curling iron takes over an hour to use! This seemed faster when I was at the salon but dont know too much about them.
I would appreciate any advice. Havent gone to the salon to color my hair yet. She wants like $150!!! Checking around that seems the best offer and she does good work. Maybe she wants a tailgate BBQ??? LOL

Coloring your hair costs more when it is long. The $150 isn't unreasonable for the length of your hair. I don't know about flat irons. The curling iron makes my hair split, even when I'm super careful. Is the flat iron better?

Lady at the salon used it on my hair last year when she colored my using platinum streaks!!!! Platinum is another work for GREY!!!! I liked the way she used the flat iron. Theres no winding, just start at the top and a slight twist and pull to the end. Kinda like a ribbon. Made it took really pretty and it was quick
