Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

Cant believe its taking me 2 weeks to dig 3 holes!!!! Way too hot out there all week. Still over 100* out! Gonna try to get it done tonight. Roses need to be planted soon. went to Lowes last night and bought cow poop and garden dirt. Sister freaked when she found out she was getting a bag of poop out of her car!!! I was too smart to tell her what it was before it went in the car!!! I know better!!

yup. it's brutal here too. I been watering my veggies twice a day,, just went out and watered them again. They needed it ! were all starting to droop !

Ive been trying to do a little at a time. not supposed to go out at all but Dr said long enough to get from the car to inside would be fine so I go out dig a hole and plant something then run in!!! Still need to plant 50 freesia and 3 flox bulbs plus the 3 roses. Still need to do my strawberry garden thing but dont even have dirt for it yet so that can wait till fall. Back porch stays 10 to 20 degrees cooler than the yard so once Im done out front I wont have too big of a problem out back. Need to plant 4 cherry trees that she told me last night were sand cherries!!! They wont last!!! Wrong soil,temps and too ugly to NOT put gasoline on them!! Ooops! Did I say that out loud???? EEK! Im ordering plants that bloom all summer and grow 6' or more. If anyone has any ideas what is pretty let me know. Dont want to spend a fortune on them. I know Im getting a blue Rose of Sharon and Crepe Myrtle. Not sure what all. They will be up against the wall to add beauty and keep the yappy dog from jumping up there! Already have a pink reblooming lilac there. Back yard has sooo much to do to it Im dreading getting started! front is almost done!!! Next year will be beautiful!!! My grandma would be so proud! She loved her flowers

Im so sorry for you!!! I asked the DR if I could go out if I sat in the sprinkler..... he said NO!!!
Rut roh .... just remembered I didn't water Kim's potted flowers out front yesterday or today ! They look like tumble weed ! I just saturated them, hope they come back ! If not, oh well,, can't eat themshake head

Good Evening All You Wonderful People!! Had a great time yesterday at daughters for the 4TH. Hope everyone had a great 4TH. Pool didn't get set up as it needed some parts and I went everywhere trying to buy a blow up family pool and they were sold out everywhere but didn't matter as weather was weird they said it would be 90 and it wasn't close to it. Stayed at daughters for the night and today was HOT HOT so I took her and kids to the lake for swimming and had a great time. Apt. closed up for 2 days and like an oven when I got home. Got the windows open and fans going so alot better. Feel sorry for all of you that have the really bad heat and hope you have air to deal with it.

OH and Goldie your hubbie was right on what was causing the oil leak, It happened again when I drove to Minneapolis to pick up sis and little brother was with pointed at the same thing your hubby did and said that is what it is. So today brought it in to the shop cuz it happened again today when we went to the lake and mentioned your hubby and my brother said the same thing and before I could point it out to him he pointed right at it and said that is common for my car. So Tuesday they are going to fix it.

Um, he lives in another town and works 50 to 60 hours a day out in the hot sun building sunrooms in 100*+. Then when he gets home he looks after the kids while she goes to work. I may see if he can make a trip up and do it for me. Ive come to the conclusion that my tools are all bums!!! Pick ax only goes in 1/2 inch at a swing, shovel wont dig so I have to use it as a scooper and the garden weasel claw thingy dont like to turn!!! I have incompetent tools!!!
