RETIRED Marlboro Outwit the West Funny Farm

228 92 October 16, 2010 at 01:35 PM
Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

So, I hope it catches on !

So pop a beer and pull up a chair and relax !

Rode Ruby last night. She did great. I bought all new tack for her. First time I have ever spent that much and bought brand new stuff !! Workin on NOT feeling guilty spending the money on a "want" instead of a "need".
Just keep telling yourself that its for her and shes worth it!!! Not often w get to spoil ourselves like that so enjoy every minute of it and she will too. Animals are very perceptive. If you make a big deal about how special it is and its just for her she will pick up on that and feel special to you

Didnt think anyone else that got the beach towel got the money. Thinking they may have thrown theirs away not knowing what it was. I read everything that comes with it usually and have a folder in my file drawer for them

Sorry, cant help but laugh at the memory of a "brownie"!!! Different kind of brownie. When my son was 3 his older brothers were visiting talking about how they hate wedgies only they called them brownies. I asked Brian if he wanted a brownie and he ran up to me all excited and said yes....... so I gave him one!!!! Looked at me so disappointed and everyone was laughing. His lower lip about reached his chest as he slowly walked away. So I said I was sorry and asked if he really wanted a brownie. He shook his head yes so I told him to come back and .... I gave him another "brownie"!!!! Got him 5 times in a row!!!! Everyone was rolling around on the floor laughing except Bri who just stood there every time in disbelief, mouth hanging open all wide eyed!!! Had to go to the corner market and buy the kid some real brownies!!!!! Couple of months back he pulled the same joke on his girlfriends 5 year old. Had to call me to tell me about it!! Asked him if he went and got the kid some brownies and he said he took him up to Walmart for them cause the kid glared at him so hard it made him feel guilty. Got up to walmart and the kid didnt want a brownie. Brian had to get him a video game!!! LMAO

As a reward ffor working so hard to become healthy I went to the salon behind our house and had her cut and color my hair. It has never been so soft. Cant remember what to use with a flat iron for heat protectant. Stuff she used was more expensive than gold!!! I told myself I wouldnt feel guilty about spending that much money on myself and I dont. Love the way my hair looks and feels. Ive set a new goal of being able to walk for 1 hour without stopping. Used to do that all the time but cant any more so I will have to build up to it. As a reward for reaching that goal I found out that a girl near the salon does the permanent makeup thing. For $200 I can get eye liner, lip liner and eye brows done. Dont need the eye brows done but my mom is in desperate need of it! She came over the other day and I got her a tissue to wipe the blood off her forehead. Turns out she used a red lip liner to apply eye brows!!!! Not only that but to open her eyes up she arches her brows way up halfway to her hairline so people dont notice how bad its receding!!!! In the mean time she looks like Bozo the Clown!!!! Desperate need of someone else doing her eye brows!!! I dont want mine done so Im asking the girl to do my moms!!!! Big Grin

LMAO I usually run the zucchinni thru a salad shooter first into a colander, squeeze it and let it drain before I start. I let some on the vine till they get big, peel them and scoop the seeds out... You can get quite a few loaves out of one squash that way. Not unusual for me to make 6 loaves at a timeBig Grin.
