RETIRED Marlboro Outwit the West Funny Farm

228 92 October 16, 2010 at 01:35 PM
Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

So, I hope it catches on !

So pop a beer and pull up a chair and relax !

If you have veggies in containers, you "should" water more than once a day. Drys out much faster than plants in the ground..... and the soil tends to shrink away from the side of the container so when you do water it just runs around the outside and out the bottomnodnod
I soak them really good when I water them but saw some of the tomatoes split from over watering. Do you think its too late to set some of them in the ground??? Afraid they will concentrate more on making roots than blooms

oohhh! love that polish...I usually only paint my toes nod too hard on my fingernails for polish to last a dayLMAO
Dont know how well it lasts but thinking about going and getting one and telling sister it came with these!!!
When I wanted a PS3 I ordered one. Sister thinks they are a waste of time. I took and photo shopped the winner paper that came with my cough drop win and changed it to say PS3!! Even added a picture of a Play Station!!! Ended up winning 2 the same week the one I bought showed up!!! Then won 3 XBoxes later that month!!!! Kids were happy with me!!! Sent 1 to Reginas sons. I would only waste the money if I sold them!!! Plus it made me feel good to do something nice for someone else and thats a feeling you just cant buy!

Thats what happens if they dry and then get a good drink,, they "out-grow" their skin and just split. Same thing will happen if you fertilize when they're turning. Usually that's only a problem when they're starting to turn rednod You can transplant them, making roots is good ! Take off the lower branches and plant them deep ! Good soil, and I hate to say... epsom salt !!!!

Same here! Have to water every day even thoufgh its supposed to be limited to every other day or theres a fine. So.... I water on Monday at 12:30 AM and again at 11:00 PM!!!! Same day 23 hours apart!!! laugh out loud
I checked your weather last night and it looked similar to ours, although I think you generally get much hotter there. The plants need natural rain to really do their best. We didn't have many Japaneese beatles last year, but there are quite a few this year. I hope they don't destroy our vines.

Fed-X just came and delivered a package. I won a Santa Margherita nail polish kit!!! Quit playing this one since I havent used nail polish in a long time! (hate the upkeep and touch ups) Was looking for a new make up bag since I just bought all new make-up. Also needed a mirror for my purse make-up. I got all 4 shades even though I always chose the same one. Theyre so pretty. Found new nail polish I like but sister said NO!!! Says Im too old for the cool stuff!!!
You're not too old for the cool stuff.

I love it when my nails are long enough to wear polish. They were great all winter and then went bad on me in May. They are getting good again.

I started taking biotin and my nails arent brittle or flimsy any more! They grow faster too. I usually just keep them clean and long. Sister is stuck in the 80's and 90's and doesnt like most things from this decade. She didnt have kids so had nothing to keep her current!!! Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

I dont like fried green tomatoes. Love red ripe tomatoes straight from the garden. Dont like them cold. Eat them like an apple except for sucking the seeds and juice out

Good morning all! wave Congrats to all the winners! I just got this email:

Thank you for participating in the Margaritaville® Brand's "Mixed Drink Maker" sweepstakes.

Congrats! You have been randomly selected as one of our weekly prize winners. The prize you have won is a pair of Margaritaville® Hemisphere Sunglasses!

This prize has an Approximate Retail Value of $80.

Your prize will be delivered to the address used on the sweepstakes entry form and should arrive in the next 2-4 weeks.

Yippie! woot I need some sunglasses, they look like aviator style, but not sure they will be dark enough for my liking...if not it will make a nice gift.

Good to see you Wish! Yes it is hot! But kudos for losing weight! Just watched The Help the second time the other night, obviously I liked it, bet the book is good. Books are always better. I haven't used the music codes yet, not quite sure how to use them, just got a droid phone, gotta figure out how to put and play music on it. Always something new to learn....

Awesome news! Thanks for posting that one Gary! Smilie

woot Congrats Syngal!!!

LMAO My question as well, got mine too.

LMAO Good one!
Congrats K! Smilie
