Another sad scenario. I talked with my sisters yesterday, who both live in the suburbs west of Denver. One sister said it was like the scab had been pulled off of Columbine. My heart goes out to those people whose lives changed so unfortunately within minutes.

I'm so sorry RG, The same thing happened to a friend of mine a couple years ago. That's a tough one to endure. Hang in there the best ya can, We are always here for you.

Remember the trellis that fell and I was worried about the vine that I cut so drastically. Looked today after the rain and it is flourishing and had to cut some fast-growing really long new branches. So it is happy. Only my bedroom is back in order. Sam took the other upstairs "broken" airconditioner out and it is now working fine after testing. Still is loud but that sound like someone throwing hundreds of small stones into the moving fan stopped. so now he has to put it back properly. Shame. However, some kind of problem in the livingroom. New unit is in and after painting the very deep window sill, noticed is it really really wet and coming thru the new paint. old unit did not leak as the sill was never wet. always dripped outside. hope it is not rotten. do not know where the water is coming in - wet all the way to the front of this deep piece of wood. Living room is still a mess and the old but just too small unit is just sitting outside because we were going to put that one upstairs. Just cannot seem to ever get done.

all air conditioners have a drip tube or drip pan to get rid of the condensation
sounds like it's either dripping over the sill and needs to drip out side
find the outlet hole for the water and make sure it's on the outside
or
maybe the hole is plugged and it's not draining and it's over flowing the pan

find the owners manual to locate the hole if you can't find it
google the unit if you don't have the book
