Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

We've been sitting on the porch watching it rain. What a wonderful sight! Luckily we didn't get any bad stuff. The heavier storm went south of us. Maybe Jak got some of it.

Didnt come here thats for sure!!!! Says its 101* out there but the temperature gauge on my patio says 108* in the shade!!! Patio is always cooler since its concrete and shaded.Temp at the airport where they measure it might be 101* but thats on the other end of town, at least 15 miles away!!! Ate some cherry tomatoes I just picked and they were so hot they ere half cooked!!! Hate hot tomatoes!!!

shhhhh , cut cherry tomatoes in half and dip them in sugar.... they taste just like strawberriesnod

Temp dropped here to 68, but it will move up again. Opened the windows. Will probably sleep in our own bed tonight. We didn't have to water today, although I don't know how much the plants by the wall got.

We're getting a new furnace (boiler) put in on Monday. The one we have now was put in during the 60s. It didn't break but it is time to update. Hope they don't have to turn it on but I bet they will. Yuk!

Hit mid 90's here today, just had some strong T-storms !! Lots of rain for the veggies ! You're sleeping in your own bed tonight ? ahhhh, where or whos bed have you been sleeping in? Smilie

I cant have the acid in the tomatoes so I plant them with sugar and sprinkle it around the soil sometimes when I water. It changes the PH of the soil and the tomatoes are as acidic. Otherwise they burn my tongue and its very painful. My tomatoes always taste good and I cant eat them more often

They will have to. They need to do a carbon monoxide check to make sure there are no leaks in the flu. Shouldve got the buy 1 get 1 free they always run. In the summer you get a free heater with A/C and in the winter you get a free A/C with heater purchase!! At least thats what they do here alot

It's just I don't play it, and don't know what it's about. Way back when, it gave me a hard time loading...so forgot about it.

Went shopping, got lots of stuff for Pete to try, including your liverwurst.....he passed on it. But I can handle itnod
He does like duck chunks. Tried the pill pockets, amusing if nothing else.....We'll work on it. We got venison chunks in gravy, sardines, tuna, lots of flavors of canned cat food... the other cats will love Pete, cause they'll get it in the end.

Hot here as well.....hoping the rains come, they're supposed to, but don't look it.

Congrats Jules on the GC coming so soon!
