However, we're still getting away from the initial statement, which is that Bill Nye is bashing christians. And I think you should find it a tad ironic that you are talking about people talking about things they're not informed about, when your initial statement was not totally accurate. Oh SNAP!!!!

No. What you're using is a typical debate strategy to pick at one point that doesn't in any way change anything about my original conclusion, but by refuting a small point seems, on the outside, to be a victory. But what I initially proposed was my dislike of one thing Mr. Nye has done. My dislike is my opinion, and what we did was debate why I had that opinion.

And I've heard the 4000 year thing as well. It has to do with the documented age of Adam through to today. All this does is give us a very rough estimate of the age of homo sapiens.

Oh man, I just had a great idea.. A TV show like "wife swap" only it would be "ex-wife swap"
So you find couples in arrangements like us, and swap.. the interesting thing is that there's a chance the newly swapped couples could actually hit it off.. like maybe at the end of each episode, there's some kind of vote on whether to extend the swapped arrangement.. Have the fans vote.. You could have someone pleading on TV.. "Please don't send my real ex back" laugh out loud

Not at all. You said he was bashing christians lately. Which is not what he was doing at all. He was saying that teaching creationism is doing a disservice to the children that are being taught this. I'd say that the two things are different enough that you are either misinformed, or were just plain wrong. There's no argument strategy, there's what he said and what you are unhappy about him supposedly saying.

You can certainly have dislike of anything you want, but when you say that you dislike the color green while you are pointing to the color red as an example, people might step in to correct the premise of your dislike.
