Do you have any tattoos ★★★

1,300 168 July 8, 2012 at 03:14 AM
I figured I'd start a thread where we post our tattoos. I put NSFW in case people post photos that include naked parts of their bodies.

Like a girl might upload a picture from work and not have time to censor a nipple with ms paint.

As for me, I have just 1. I have a tattoo of a flower on my ass.
How many tattoos do you have

1. What makes you think that people would want to post their pictures in your trolling thread?

2. Your flowery ass isn't visible.

God, the whole tattoo craze just blows my mind. They just look so awful on aged old people.

I remember seeing an elderly chinese/ japanese lady in Toronto when I was a kid with a tattoos up and down her arm, they looked like hell!

I think that stuck with me, I could never get a tattoo after seeing that old chinese/ japanese lady with all those discolored markings. she probably thought they were cool though...

You know what they say; Getting a tattoo is like putting a bumper sticker on a Ferrari. I guess some people don't value their bodies that much. Yeah, let me scribble this shit all over my body. Yeah that looks good. Disgusting. It makes you look like trash. Madvomit

That's the great thing, people are allowed to mess up / enhance their self anyway they want.

Likewise, I too, can have an opinion!

Tattoos are for carnival workers IMO.

LOL....

i think tattoos are a passing fad. We'll see how these people feel when they're 50-70 and the tattoo is sagging from old age.

I'd guess about half the people I know have tattoos. I certainly don't have any problem with that, but it puzzles me sometimes--like why so many stuntpeople have great big arm tattoos. If a big part of your job is to double someone else or look like a generic person, it seems to me that would make it harder. You're not always going to be doubling someone who's wearing long sleeves.

On the other hand, I gather that a lot of women like it, so that could certainly be a motivation.

But I wouldn't call it a fad; I don't get the impression that it's more common to get tattoos now than it was twenty years ago.

(No tats or piercings here. All my metal parts are internal.)

I certainly hope so. I think it might have something to do with upbringing too. I have several friends with older kids 18 - 25 and none of them have tattoos yet. But they are more go to college, earn a degree, get a good job and live responsibly type of people as opposed to live for today trailer trash families.

It's not really a fad, since people have been getting tattoos for thousands of years.

keep debating whether or not to get one for the past 4 years...I'm thinking this means I shouldn't-probably regret it immediately afterwards

I am tattoo free! Whee

I wouldn't mind getting a small tattoo that isn't easily visible, but I imagine all the hidden places would also be more painful.

I personally don't find tattoos attractive though. My man is tattoo free and I'm thankful for it! Most of our friends don't have tattoos, but one guy is talking about adding all this junk to his arm Nono2 I hope he never saves up the money for it... I guess since I've never seen him with tattoos, I just can't imagine him with them, especially big ones.
