Today I am grateful.

3-item minimum. I'll start.
Today I am grateful because:
1. I have a bed to sleep in and a roof to put it under.
2. I have food to eat and I will not starve.
3. I have friends to call and a phone to call them with.
4. I have shoes to wear and someplace to go (and people who will be happy to see me when I get there).
5. I have a computer and internet access and I can come to the Lounge and play and enjoy my SD family.
Who's next?
Today I am grateful because:

3. done with school and two good jobs to choose from - both of which pay way more than I need to afford life's essentials (food, place to live)
2. I have the brains to make good decisions (at most times) and work a decent job.

1. The weather is beautiful and I will be off from work in time to enjoy some of the day;
2. I will see lots of my friends this evening;
3. I found out about Snyder's of Hanover pretzel sandwiches and will be opening a new bag and bringing some for lunch tomorrow;
4. I lost 2 lbs. last week!
Edit: Also that he just got an interview for a new job that he really wants - he hates his job so much and he really deserves this new one!!! I'm sooo excited for him
1. Today I don't feel the way I did at this time yesterday.
2. I am wearing jeans at work!
3. There's plenty of drama here in the Lounge to keep me interested
4. Tonight is my next-to-last day in drunk driving class!
My ex's interview went really well today
I'm going to dinner with my family tonight
I'm seeing some friends this weekend that I haven't seen in a while
The company I want to work for might possibly have an opening
I found some new music I like!
My husband is home early~
My son used all of his lawn mowing money on my bday gift~ soo sweet.

1. Today I went to lunch with a good friend, and he paid!
2. I have 2 great kids, and a hubby that's helping them with Mother's Day projects
3. We took family pictures last night, and the kids actually smiled!
1. I have a great job and enough money to begin paying back my father.
2. 7-11 sells stamps!
3. A friend of mine got a job where I work so I can ride all the way there and home with him (and no longer have a 2-hour one-way commute by bus and rail).
4. I know I will fall asleep within 10 minutes of laying down.
5. Tomorrow I get to wear jeans to work!

I had opportunities that I didn't have yesterday
I know the people who I love are safe in bed
All my loved ones are safe and healthy
I know I don't have to do this job forever
I have peanut butter cream oreos at home
My hair looks awesome today
That I know I am good person
1. I almost beat minesweeper on expert level
2. I have a Dad who will make me an omellete tomorrow morning
3. I have a car that is faster than Cav's
1. It's Friday, and for the first time in months, I don't have anywhere to be, anyone looking for or expecting me, or anything more important than downloading MP3s to do tonight.
2. I have time to do my laundry this evening and won't have to worry about it all weekend.
3. I don't have to shave again until Monday morning.
4. I will spend time with my wife tomorrow evening.
5. I love my job! And I'm done with it for two whole days!
1. It's Friday! And I don't have to be on call this weekend
2. My broken toe feels alot better today!
3. I have a wonderful family
4. I made a new friend and have really enjoyed spending time with him lately
5. I got a very positive progress report from my daughters teacher
