It's just a pea shooter, nothing very big. My Husbands childhood friend was in town today and they went to a gun show. His friend bought me a gun, so I can join them the next time they go shoot some targets.

You have to be 18 or older to purchase a rifle or shotgun;
You have to be 21 or older to purchase a handgun;
You must buy your gun from a federally-licensed dealer in your state;
You must submit to a background check that the dealer will arrange, using an FBI database
exceptions:
Fugitives from justice
Illegal aliens
Unlawful users of certain drugs
Those committed to a mental institution
Those convicted of crimes punishable by imprisonment for more than one year (which generally covers felonies)
Those convicted of crimes of domestic violence
tattoo's don't count either toward or against owning a gun, but since you can have the right to own a gun revoked, and tattoos are permanent, a tattoo could only make you ineligible for owning a gun, never allowing a person to buy a gun

That particular model might be considered a C&R (curio and relic) and if so, it typically does not require any registration and can be given as a gift.
Exceptions are inherited firearms.
That 4-click hammer sure is nice, too.
I like the old timey look it has.
I bet you would kick a girl!
I'm glad to hear that someone has it and loves it.
I was hoping it would be accurate.

Why would you want to shoot peas? What did they ever do to you?
