Fantasy Football

I've been running an "unofficial" SD Fantasy Football league for the last few years. I need a few more folks to sign up.

It's a yahoo league, live draft next Wednesday at 9 PM EDT. We have 6 so far, need 4-6 more. No $$ involved unless I can convince Schoobs to throw in an SD t-shirt for the winner. Wink

Got a question about FGs. Lets say a team decides to kick it on a 1st or 2nd down, does that mean they get multiple chances to kick it again? So lets say they miss on a 1st, do they get a 2nd, 3rd, 4th to kick it again? I have never seen it happen, so I have to ask.

Nope. If they miss it the other team gets the ball, so kinda like a punt.

Nope, it's like a punt, ball will turn over to the opposing team whether hit or miss. Only reason why you would see a team try to get a FG on 1st or 2nd down is if it's late, they want to get the FG in just in case of a penalty, mistake with personnel and they don't want to waste 4th down.

If the ball is kicked, it becomes the opposing team's ball. Anything else; fumble, run or pass (as long as they maintain possession) allows them to still have downs to use provided they do not pass the 1st down to gain yardage. Which would yield a new set of 4 downs obviously.
