Hi all,
I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.
Everyone is welcome!
I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.
This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.
So, I hope it catches on !

Off to toons they like me better then Tamales and more fun.
And here I am bent out of shape over fleas. We have no animals. Just finished spraying the yard with chemicals. Yuk. We've never sprayed chemicals in our yard before.
So here I am upset cause the fleas have gotten in our house and are eating me up while other people's homes are full of water. I guess I'd rather have fleas.

Some Sunday morning humor
A few years ago upon hearing that my elderly grandfather had just passed away, I went straight to my grandparent's house to visit and try and comfort my 95 year old grandmother. When I asked how my grandfather had died, my gram replied, "He had a heart attack while we were having sex Sunday morning." Horrified I told my grandmother that I just couldn't picture two people nearly 100 years old having sex and it surely had to be asking for trouble. "Oh no, my dear, I love it !" replied granny. "Many years ago, realizing our advanced age was gonna be a hindrance, I figured out the best time to do it was on Sunday when the church bells would start to ring. It was just right rhythm for your granddad. Nice and slow and even and worked just fine. Nothing too strenuous, simply in on the Ding and out on the Dong." As I looked on slightly stupefied at the revelation of my diminutive, saintly, Irish grandmother's penchant for sex, she paused to wipe away a tear, and continued, "and if that damned ice cream truck hadn't come along, he'd still be alive today!"

In the spring we spray the fresh mowed grass with something we hook up to the water hose to kill the ones in the yard. Its safe cause we have dogs and the neighbors chickens so we have to watch what we use. Have to let it dry before they can go out. Keep the grass really short. Fleas prefer tall cooler grass and will stay away from the shorter grass because the sun will heat it and they wont have shade
