Hi all,
I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.
Everyone is welcome!
I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.
This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.
So, I hope it catches on !

Busy time for me at the Center -- planning the Sukkot party. I'm so glad we have separate funding for our holiday celebrations. As with most charitable organizations, our contributions are down this year because people are making their donations to political groups instead of non-profits. We've had a LOT of cut-backs in staff and supplies, but are hanging in. Most of our clients don't have a clue that there are problems because most of our events don't cost much for the Center. My craft class for example -- I never spend more than $1 per person per craft. It's kind of amazing what I can do with that little money. Most of our lectures are by people who don't charge anything -- policemen doing safety classes, firemen talking about emergency preparedness, podiatrists who volunteer their services once a month, that kind of stuff.
My poor boss is going nuts. She had a full-time activity assistant but the job was cut to part-time and now she has nobody at all. And yes, that means that I have more to do, but it's not a problem for me. She keeps apologizing and I keep telling her that it's keeping me off the streets. We're all just hoping that next year will see more income so we can get back to our version of "normal."
On the other hand......I received another three packages of the duct tape. The first two I got were black and black with lace. These three were the red and black with lips. I also got two emails telling me that I'd won more. I wonder which batch those will be. My niece, who is a handywoman, is going to go nuts with these. I don't know which contest is awarding them -- the one where you just click to enter or the one you choose your fashion sense. They both end on the same date so I don't suppose it matters, but it's kind of weird that they're running simultaneously.
As with many of you, I'd love to win a Keurig from the latte contest. I keep giving my sister all the pods we win or get free. She opens them up and uses them in her regular drip machine, but has mentioned a few times that she'd sure like the Keurig. To tell the truth, it's a bit of overkill for me, but I usually drink only one mug of coffee in the morning so my little maker is fine.
Well, back to the real world for me. Win big and be an inspiration to us all.
Went and bought new computer today........but I'm still on the old one. My AOL disk won't work with Windows 7 and AOL WON"T give me an access number to get online and download AOL.......I have to wait till they send me a disk........I just want ta kick their ass......lol

One guy told me if you need a number I'll give you one, but it won't work. Kind of a smart a**, one said it wasn't possible, and the other gave me a number and walked me thru it and the service would not connect. Basically told me a I need to go through the disk to get online.
