Hi all,
I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.
Everyone is welcome!
I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.
This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.
So, I hope it catches on !

I missed the Margaritaville contest. It's still nice to read about all of the winners.
Very busy. Just when I get caught up on one thing, something else goes wrong. Just one of those times.
No wins this am. UPS sent an alert that the Nonni's Biscotti that I won in the last contest should be here today, but it's still in Indiana, so we'll see.
I'm caught up again. If I missed any winners or events, I'm sorry and will do better.

Life's been crazy. DIL had to go into the hospital almost two weeks ago because she was losing amniotic fluid. Her Mom and sister came and helped with the two boys, 4 1/2 and 20 mos, for about three days. Then we came last Wednesday. DIL had the baby by C-section on Friday. Baby was only 28 weeks along. He was 3 lbs 3 oz and 15 1/2 in long. So far he is doing okay. We went and saw him yesterday. DIL came home from the hospital this evening but the baby will be in the hospital for a long time.
Before all this happened I had made reservations for my mother to visit. She'll be coming tomorrow. Am expecting both our sons and their sons (3 not counting the new one) to be visiting this coming weekend. My mom will be visiting for two weeks.
I'm beginning to think that life will never be normal again, or maybe this is normal.
Take care. I'll stop by again when I can.

(CBS News) A small-town rodeo is attracting some national attention as the event's announcer made a joke over the PA system that has offended some. The announcer at a local rodeo in San Luis Obispo County, Calif., is coming under fire for a joke about First Lady Michelle Obama, which some said was racist.
"Playboy is offering Ann Romney $250,000 to pose in the magazine, and the White House is upset about it because National Geographic only offered Michelle Obama $50 to pose for them," the San Luis Obispo Tribune reported how audience member Dona Wilson recounted the joke.
At least one member of the Creston Classic Rodeo has called on the announcer, Ed Kutz, to apologize.
"I can't speak for the board, but I myself think that this is unacceptable behavior or conduct by the announcer," said Mike Barrett in The Tribune. "I find it offensive, and I think that it's conduct unbecoming the rodeo announcer."
According to the rodeo's website, Creston is a small town on the Central California coast. The annual rodeo attracts cowboys and cowgirls from around California to compete in the three-day event "that carries on the tradition of the hard-working pioneers that founded Creston."

Now this sweep has me a little worried when it comes to my Brother... it looks like what you win is Bra's
and you have to give a cup size.... Sooo... if he won.. who would he give it too ? he's not married, and doesn't have a girlfriend....its a little weird thinking he would throw it into his prize closet just because he won it..... "But then again,,, he's always been on the strange side.

Whew! Been busy with mud and paint. lol Dont know why I didnt do all this sooner. Place looks great. Shown 3 times over the weekend. One family is coming back for a second look today. They would be perfect since they will not be able to move until the spring and would rent back to me while I am building the new house. Would only have to move furniture once! Oh please let them buy!!

See if your bank will fax the form after they notarize it. Mine does for free as a courtesy.
Walmart is terrible with coupons in general.
I posted in the Contest forum to keep the letter etc. and take it with you when you redeem. Kroger was also a pill and refused to take them. Target (surprisingly enough) had no problems. I used part of last year's (when I cleaned up because of the noon drawings) for one of the spend $50 and receive a $10 Target GC.
Petsmart was great about the coupons, but wait until Thanksgiving. Petsmart had a gift card that had a little coupon booklet behind the GC. I bought 1 ea $5 GC and was able to use the buy a Beggin' Strip bag and get one free, and the same for the other dog treat coupons. That meant 4 free treats.
This year, I won 6 items and will wait for the Petsmart booklet, then use the rest at Meijer during a buy $ of Purina and get OYNO.
