My house sold last night for right at my asking price! Everyone told me I would not get that...above market value! Fiance got the realtor to go off a point commission too. We are allowed to rent back until our new house is finished. Im still in shock Im so excited and very grateful.

Which system are you using for virus protection? Norton, Microsoft, McAfee? It might be worth contacting them and explaining the situation. They might be able to do a scan or send you software to do a scan and then tell you how to fix it.

Have you gone to CNET and tried any of the free scan for viruses programs?

I bought Norton and then my computer died so I had to get a new one. That came with the dreaded McAfee and it messed up some programs when it did an update. I spoke with someone at I think Roboform and then with the IT person at the Center and they both recommended that I dump McAfee and just get Microsoft Security Essentials because it's one of the best ones out there. So... can anyone tell me: for the Marlboro VIP contest, because it is only "limit one entry per person", do our submissions roll over to the following weeks, or is it a new contest (with new info needing to be submited) each weekend? (Yes, 'Sandy (that would be me) IS stupid.' ). And, confused.

Very impressive, I'm spose to have 50m. The most I've ever seen on any of these tests is around 30m. Except for my ISP's private member only speed test, It quickly jumps to 50. I don't believe it.

My little Sunshine had to go back to the vet's yesterday for a check up to be certain everything is okay. She's a good cat and I'm enjoying her immensely. Azizi is thrilled that he finally has a cat who likes to play.

My ex-boss came over yesterday and picked up the Acer tablet I won. She loves it -- it comes with the keyboard docking station so it's more like a laptop than a tablet, although she can use it either way. She paid me $450 for it -- a good deal for her and I can use part of that for paying taxes. Win-win, as it were.

I've won a few small prizes -- Brawny paper goods, a gas card for my sister, etc. I do enter lots of contests so usually get something at least once a week. One of the better things I've gotten recently was from the city of Los Angeles -- emerency food supplies. It's a giveaway for seniors and consists of 5 meals. If I have power, I can microwave them. If the power is out, you pull something and the meals heat themselves. Also came with 10 small bags of water with a 5-year shelf life. I'm NOT giving my sister half of that win. I've stashed them in a closet and will only use for a real emergency.

So all is going well, but I've been sooooo busy. I enjoy reading all your posts and even if I don't have time to respond, I take it all in.

Win big, people, and continue to give the rest of us the inspiration we need to keep on keeping on.

Please tell me. I cannot get Uniball to work. Keeps going back to the "Enter" button no matter how many times I try. I tried it on the Explorer and on Firefox. Is it just me??
