Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

Update on Purina Coupons - and I AM going to pursue this as I stayed up many nights (sleep depravation as Sprok will attest to - won't you?) to win these bogus coupons. I took them to Pet Smart and the manager examined each and every one. they all say somewhere on them in really light letters VOID. Not right. About $40 worth of worthless coupons. He said I was lucky that Walmart took any of them. And some of the ones that Walmart scanned said they were worth one cents or two cents and that is craziness also. How could they do this? I called Purina last week early in the week and they have not yet responded, and that is not right either. Wound up getting the 4 little dears a big bag full of new toys and only the 2 girls like them, the boys do not. they like their old ones. And I chose so carefully.

that void thing shows up if you copy them

make a copy and the word "copy" or "void" will be plain as day you can show him the difference. berore you make a copy it's like a watermark barely visible

I only had one coupon for 2 cans of chef michaels and petco took it no problem

the Pet Smart manager is not so Smart.. that VOID is a security measure called "Hidden Pantograph" and is used so that the original coupon can not be photocopied.. it will darken and become visible during the copy. Purina is not trying to screw you. They even have a security Key on the back of each coupon listing the 8 measures of security that are on those coupons.. Hidden Pantograph is the first measure listed..

lol. well I think both of you saved Blondeey a lot of trouble. She'll also understand now what it's all about and be able to show that store manager that he is the one who is way wrong.

She is just so precious and growing up to fast. My last grandbaby but I am so lucky to have her here everyday. Unlike the others when I was living away.
