RETIRED Marlboro Outwit the West Funny Farm

228 92 October 16, 2010 at 01:35 PM
Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

So, I hope it catches on !

So pop a beer and pull up a chair and relax !

Today's Travel Channel Trivia Question!
Which city was home to the first boardwalk in America?
You Answered: Atlantic City

CORRECT!

The Atlantic City Boardwalk was the first boardwalk in America. It opened in June 1870 to help hotel owners keep sand out of their lobbies. Today, the boardwalk lures many visitors on the way to one of the area's many casinos … and to a confectioner's stand for the boardwalk's famous salt water taffy

you should see spikes and dips.. if ya go to the "Performance" tab the CPU usage should stay relatively low with brief spikes with your activity.. when I got hacked.. this is where I found it.. instead of seeing my name for user it showed "Admin" which I never surf under.. so.. I had to have my Geek show him the fkn door..but those were my symptoms.. kept freezing.. shit took forever to open or execute.. was an angry lil PC..

They got a facebook page? Ask them about it there.
I just posted my tale of woe on their dog site. Hope they answer.

that void thing shows up if you copy them

make a copy and the word "copy" or "void" will be plain as day you can show him the difference. berore you make a copy it's like a watermark barely visible

I only had one coupon for 2 cans of chef michaels and petco took it no problem
I just posted on their facebook page. Just took the magnifying glass and checked the coupons and there is no void marks on them. Not that I can see anyways.

the Pet Smart manager is not so Smart.. that VOID is a security measure called "Hidden Pantograph" and is used so that the original coupon can not be photocopied.. it will darken and become visible during the copy. Purina is not trying to screw you. They even have a security Key on the back of each coupon listing the 8 measures of security that are on those coupons.. Hidden Pantograph is the first measure listed..
Well, both stores I frequent and now I really hesitate to return to either one. Walmart said if I think they are strict, I should try Shoprite which is the large grocery store here. It is just disappointing as I organized them all by dog/cat and made a list so I would not be confused and then this. I will see what Purina answers me. but I cannot go back to those 2 stores with these coupons. And I stayed up so late to win these as they seemed to win between 3-4 am.
