Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

OK the leak wont stop by itself
it will only get worse

shut the water off to the water heater before you have a flood

it could leak like that forever or burst at any time don't take a chance

I know. the shut off is under the house. i am claustrophobic. 3 ft. high crawl space. he will be home tomorrow. i think he has to quit his job. this is all too much back and forth. i will cross my fingers. grandson was away until tonight.
I have the flu shot early in the morning. don't know if i will make it up all night. probably will not sleep worrying about the water.
Don't forget IKE & MIKE'S AT MIDNIGHT.

Hi Blondeey. wave Can you at least get to the control to shut off the water heater? If the pressure in the water heater gets to be more than the weak spot for the leak is it could rupture the bottom out of the heater,and that would not be good.OMG

The water seems to be very, very hot much more than usual. burns. trying not to use it much. But years ago i used to have the hot water on a clock timer and that box is still in there (called the little grey box) and it will shut the hot water off if i push the switch. good idea. thanks. if it makes it thru the night i will be ok.

I cannot believe that. I am sorry. such anxiety. why did they do that? i read that response and figured they would do the right thing. I got so upset with that C voting thing when no one for days could get to vote for me. After that, i said no more voting stuff for me to enter. Too much stress. K seems to be ok on C this time (#8) but you never know. Again, sorry.
