1. PROMOTION DESCRIPTION: The Modern Family Home Makeover Instant Win Game (the "Promotion" or "Instant Win Game") begins on September 18, 2012 at 12:00:00 AM Pacific Time (PT) and ends December 31, 2012 at 11:59:59 PM PT (the "Promotion Period"). Each entrant (the "Participant") unconditionally accepts and agrees t.comply with and abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment LLC (the "Sponsor"), which shall be final and binding in all respects.

2. PROMOTION ELIGIBILITY: The Promotion is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District Columbia, 18 years of age or older, except employees, officers and directors of Sponsor it'S respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, The Sweepstakes Center, independent sales distributors, prize providers, advertising and promotional agencies (and immediate family members or those living in the same household with such individuals). Offer void outside the U.S., in Puerto Rico, and wherever else prohibited by law. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.

3. HOW TO PARTICIPATE: To enter, visit https://www.modernfamilysweeps.com (the "Website") during the Promotion Period and follow all entry instructions to provide your information and 8-digit Instant Win Game Code (the "Code"), and click the 'Submit" button (the "Entry"). If your Entry corresponds with one of the predetermined winning Codes you will be taken to a page where you will be shown a Congratulations message showing the prize you have won. There are two (2) ways to acquire a Code:


1) TO ENTER WITH A SPECIALLY-MARKED Modern Family BLU-RAY OR DVD: Look inside specially-marked Modern Family Season 3 Blu-rays and DVDs to reveal your Code. Each Code may be used for one (1) entry into the Instant Win Game subject to the terms of these Official Rules; or

2) TO ENTER WITHOUT A SPECIALLY-MARKED Modern Family BLU-RAY OR DVD: Visit https://www.modernfamilysweeps.com to request a Code, provide your email address and click the 'Submit' button (the "Code Request") to be sent a Code at the email address you provided. Limit: One (1) Code per request, while supplies last.

Limit: One (1) Entry per Participant and Participant is limited to entry through only one (1) email address. Once submitted, entries .come the property of the Sponsor, will not be returned and will be used by Sponsor in accordance with its online privacy policy. NOTE: Entries made by any other individual or entity that is not the person named on the submitted Entry, or made in any manner inconsistent with these Official Rules, will be declared invalid and disqualified from this Promotion in the sole discretion of the Sponsor. 4. PRIZE DETAILS /APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE ("ARV"): One (1) Instant Grand Prizes is available to be redeemed online.


Grand Prize: One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive the following:

5. ODDS: Odds of winning a prize in the Instant Win Game are 1:300,000.

6. WINNER SELECTION: There will be a total of only one (1) randomly pre-selected winning Code during the Promotion Period. In the event the Grand Prize is not claimed before the Promotion Period ends, the Grand Prize will be deemed unclaimed and awarded in the second chance drawing as described below. Status as a prize winner may be subject to verification of eligibility an.compliance with these Official Rules.

7. SECOND CHANCE DRAWING: If at the end of the Promotion Period the Grand Prize remains unawarded, it will be included in a Second Chance Drawing for the Grand Prize. The Second Chance Drawing will be conducted on or about January 7, 2013 from among all eligible, non-winning entries received as of December 31, 2012 at 11:59:59 PM PT. Winner selected in the Second Chance Drawing will receive an email notification within approximately 72 hours after the Second Chance Drawing. The email notification will state the prize he/she has won and instructions on how to claim/redeem his/her prize. Non-winning entries will not be notified.

8. WINNER NOTIFICATION: Winner of Online Instant-Win Grand Prize will receive an on-screen notification stating the prize he/she has won. Non-winning Entrants will be notified on-screen. Winner of Online Instant-Win Grand Prize will receive an email notification within 72 hours following on-screen notification. The email notification will state the prize he/she has won and instructions on how to claim/redeem his/her prize. Return of prize or winner notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification. If a potential winner of the Grand Prize cannot be contacted by the methods and/or within the time periods stated in these Rules, potential winner forfeits Grand Prize.

All winning claims are subject to verification by Sponsor and/or its independent games administrator, whose decisions are binding. In the event the Instant Win Game shows that you are a winner, you are not a winner until your eligibility and the potential winning game-play has been verified and any required documentation has been received and verified. No proof of winning will be accepted. Only the Sponsor'S verification process shall be conclusive and final. Sponsor is not responsible for any change of email address, mailing address and/or telephone number of entrants. Return of winner notification or any prize as undeliverable or the determination that a potential winner (as applicable) is not eligible to receive a prize, will result in prize forfeiture.
Grand Prize winner will be confirmed via mail, email and/or phone, and will be required to sign and return, within seven (7) days of notification, an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Waiver, a W-9 Form and where allowable, a Publicity Release (collectively, "the Releases") along with the winning Code for verification. These releases will require the Winner to furnish his/her Social Security Number for the sole purpose of tax reporting, as required by law. N.compliance will result in disqualification. The prize will be sent to the winner within approximately 6-8 weeks after the winner is verified. Grand Prize winner shall be solely responsible for all federal, state and/or local taxes.
9. GENERAL CONDITIONS: By entering the Promotion, each participant agrees to abide by and be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor. All such decisions shall be final, binding and non-appealable. Prizes are non-assignable and non-transferable. No prize substitutions or cash redemptions except as provided herein. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to substitute any prize or portion thereof with one of equal or greater value if any prize or portion thereof is unavailable for any reason. Details of prizes or portions thereof not specified herein, if any, will be determined at the sole discretion of Sponsor. By participating in the Promotion, each Participant releases the Sponsor, The Sweepstakes Center, their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, promotion and advertising agencies, prize providers and the officers, directors, employees, and/or agents of each of the foregoing (the "Promotion Entities") on an individual and collective basis from any and all claims, liability, loss or damage of any kind, including any third party claims, including but not limited to those related to personal injury or death, property damage, defamation, portrayal in a false light or privacy rights, resulting from or in connection with participation in the Promotion or from acceptance, receipt, possession and/or use or misuse of a prize, or from the posting or publication of any winner online or in any media. TECHNOLOGY CONDITIONS: The Promotion Entities assume no responsibility for any damage to a Participant'.computer or telephone system that is directly or indirectly caused by accessing the Website or otherwise participating in the Promotion, or for an.computer system, phone line, hardware, software or program malfunctions, or other errors, failures, dropped or delaye.computer transmissions or network connections that are human or technical in nature. The Website's database clock will be the official timekeeper for this Promotion. Once submitted, entries .come the property of the Sponsor. Except as otherwise provided in these Official Rules, information collected in connection with the Promotion will be used by Sponsor in accordance with its online privacy policy, located at https://www.modernfamilysweeps.com. Entry in the Promotion must be made by the Participant and only at the Website. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a Participant, the entry in question will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the email account for the email address provided at the time of entry. The authorized account holder shall be the natural person to whom the applicable email address has been assigned by the Internet access provider, service provider, or other online organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. A potential winner may be requested to provide the Sponsor with proof that the potential winner is the authorized account holder. If a dispute cannot be resolved to Sponsor's satisfaction, the entry will be deemed ineligible. No mechanically reproduced, illegal, forged, software generated or other automated entries will be accepted.

11. DISQUALIFICATION: It is the Participant's responsibility to ensur.compliance in all respects with these Official Rules. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to prohibit a Participant from participating in the Promotion or winning a prize if, in its sole discretion, it determines that said Participant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of this Promotion, including without limitation by actually or attempting to: tamper with the entry processes or the operation of the Promotion; act in violation of these Official Rules; act in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with the intent to disrupt or undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion, or to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.

12. FORCE MAJEURE: Sponsor reserves the right, without prior notice and at any time, to terminate the Promotion, in whole or in part, or modify or suspend the Promotion in any way, if it determines, in its sole discretion, that the Promotion is technically impaired or corrupted or that fraud or technical problems, failures or malfunctions have destroyed or severely undermined the integrity and/or feasibility of the Promotion. In the event Sponsor is prevented from continuing with the Promotion as contemplated herein by any event beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to fire, flood, natural or man-made epidemic of health or other means, earthquake, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of God or public enemy, satellite or equipment failure, riot or civil disturbance, terrorist threat or activity, war (declared or undeclared) or any federal, state or local government law, order, or regulation, public health crisis, order of any court or jurisdiction, or other cause not reasonably within Sponsor's control (each a "Force Majeure" event or occurrence), then subject to any governmental approval which may be required, Sponsor shall have the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Promotion. If the Promotion is terminated, in whole or in part, before the designated end date, Sponsor reserves the right to select the winners from among all eligible, non-suspect Entries received as of the date/time of the event giving rise to the termination. Only the type and quantity of prizes described in these Official Rules will be awarded. If there are more Grand Prize winners than one (1), the first winner notified for the Grand Prize, will be deemed the instant Grand Prize winner for the Grand Prize and any winners notified after that will not be considered winners and no prize will be awarded. Any prize that is not duly claimed in accordance with these Official Rules will not be awarded.

13. INVALIDITY: These Official Rules cannot be modified or amended in any way except in a written document issued in accordance with law by a duly authorized representative of Sponsor. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Official Rules shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any Promotion materials and the terms and conditions of these Official Rules, these Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control.

14. GOVERNING LAW: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules or the rights and obligations of the Participant, or Sponsor in connection with the Promotion shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the internal laws of the State of California without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other state's laws. By participating in this Promotion, Participants agree that California courts shall have jurisdiction over any dispute or litigation arising from or relating to this Promotion and that venue shall be only in Los Angeles, California. Any such controversy or claim shall be litigated on an individual basis, and shall not be consolidated with any claim or controversy of any other party.
