Why the fark are there 15,000 different ways to teach someone binary on the internet, and none of them are the same or fully teach what to do with the last number? Mad

I finally found one from Virginia Tech that is simple enough to teach DS1 with. He caught on pretty quickly.

Are you going with 0000 = 0, 0001 = 1, 0010 = 2, 0100 = 4, etc?

Yeah, and that was easy enough to teach him how to convert binary to decimal, but I hadn't had to turn decimal in to binary in so long that I forgot how. I had to look it up.
