Maybe it's the LDP?
Have you changed anything on the EVAP system lately (or anything electrical on the car)? That code should be due to the flow in the system (which could be the solenoid etc) but could also mean a leak in the system or lines hooked up backwards.
Did your mechanic leak test the system? This is all vacuum driven so the hoses should be inspected and a cracked one could be the culprit.
How long have you been dealing with this? It could be something as stupid as a bad seal on the gas cap (affects the vacuum of the fuel system). If the car runs fine and you don't need to pass an inspection (eg no check engine light) I'm not sure I would spend a whole lot of time and money chasing the issue...
I'd check all the vacuum lines, filler neck, gas cap etc first before I started replacing anything though.

Did you ever pick up an AR? Wasn't it you that was asking about purchasing one off the interwebz in the gamer's lounge?

i'm 5hrs away from someone, and we're watching movies together while g-chatting
:lame:
I can't find anything about a sensor. There is a solenoid on the vapor canister surge valve that should be above the gas tank. Do you have a P/N of the sensor you are looking for? Not at all trying to insult your mechanical skills, but how did you come to the conclusion the EVAP sensor is bad? Is it throwing codes? If so, do you know what codes?
About what it seems like in here
So I'm sure there is a back story to the question I was asked about 'where women pee from', care to enlighten me?

Do gay guys have bases like straight couples do?
