I have a spreadsheet that I just created for a client to start using in January. It's basically just a summary/snapshot of all of my client's resources each day. I have 3 things I'd like to do to this spreadsheet, and I'm hoping they are as simple as I think they are.
  1. Create a macro that runs when you open the sheet and prompts you to clear the data from certain fields.
  2. Create another prompt/pop-up box that asks if you'd like to populate the spreadsheet with values located in another sheet (so this macro will need to access another spreadsheet on our server).
  3. When I save the document (which means I'm done), I'd like it to prompt me and tell me if I forgot to populate certain fields, aka left them blank and without a value in them. It can still save the document, just give me a pop-up box that says "Hey you forgot to populate Cell D7!"
  4. Just because I like #4.

I really like the relaxed nature of 4H (compared to Boy Scouts, our troop is almost like the Army), but the downside is stuff like this.
One of my sons took archery last year.. They had a program, we didn't get the word about it until it was too late (maybe it was our fault as noobies, we didn't track it down) so he ended up doing the program on his own. He still had fun though.

lol.. I had a friend that was a severe alcoholic.. He was up drinking all night. Then he remembers at about 7 am that he has a probation hearing in like an hour or two.. He didn't want to miss his hearing and get "in trouble", so he drove there, totally bombed and was arrested for DUI as soon as he showed up.. Not very bright...
