My testicles are annoyingly itchy, have you ever had poison ivy on a sensitive area?

I've become terribly allergic to poison ivy to the point where when I get a touch of it (like this) I have to get medication to take care of it because my body won't fight it on its own. I'd say of the last 5 times I have been to the hospital for something non-routine, 3-4 times are attributed to poison ivy. I can just brush up against it and it'll soon spread ~48 hours later ... doesn't bode well for my mediocre golf game.

While landscaping around the yard this weekend, I must have gotten near a bunch of poison ivy and it started on my forehead (wiping my brow) and my eye (very annoying, puffy like a bad hangover), and has descended the to wonder nether region when I must have adjusted myself (sue me, I'm a guy).

Commence with the mockery, I'm providing you a golden chance to make "Rammy's balls are so itchy..." jokes until someone locks the thread. Begin.

Oh ... I forgot the biggest part of my discomfort (which I feel will bring a few laughs) was that the attending nurse was rather cute, a little older than me, but single and kept giving me a nice few down the front of her shirt. When she was done examining my forehead and back of my neck, she asked if there was anywhere else it had spread and I had to say "I believe I have a touch of it on my testicles". Relatively straight face from her with a bit of smirk and I'm sure I was Blush2 She offered to check them out and I quickly declined Seedoctor

I've got your cure right here! Oral Ivy [oralivy.com]

Not only will it help prevent, YES PREVENT you from getting poison ivy, oak, etc... but it can heal the stuff in a matter of two days. I have been taking it, as a preventative measure, for many years now and I haven't gotten poison since. I used to be extremely allergic to it!

Yea ... I figured that might bring me up for review. Reference the "cute", "single" and "giving me looks down the front of her blouse" comments. The place the itch resides is smack dab between the two teabags so you'd have to move the unit out of the way to examine. Not a chance I was going to let handle the twig and berries while I looked down her shirt ... was that a stiff breeze? Evillaugh

Ok ... shock. EEK! Really? I'm not into homeopathic therapy, aromatic health candles, or any of that granola-eating tree-hugging stuff Wink but if this works even in the slightest it would be a blessing! How often do you have to take it?

Cute story for you then. A few years ago Dh had to have emergency surgery to remove his spleen, I watched a young nurse give him a sponge bath Wink5 afterwards I reminded him that this would be the only time I would allow another woman to handle the twig and berries laugh out loud let alone watch!

Basically all it is is the extract from the plants and it builds up your immune system (from what I understand). You take it every day, just a few drops in a drink, and you are good to go. You can find it on Amazon but I get it from a farming type catalog (I can't think of the name right now). Everybody that I know, who has tried it, loves the stuff. It is a bit bitter but you can mask the bitterness quite easily. If you are using it to heal yourself then you can't mask the bitterness (you put the liquid directly into your mouth).
