My testicles are annoyingly itchy, have you ever had poison ivy on a sensitive area?

I've become terribly allergic to poison ivy to the point where when I get a touch of it (like this) I have to get medication to take care of it because my body won't fight it on its own. I'd say of the last 5 times I have been to the hospital for something non-routine, 3-4 times are attributed to poison ivy. I can just brush up against it and it'll soon spread ~48 hours later ... doesn't bode well for my mediocre golf game.

While landscaping around the yard this weekend, I must have gotten near a bunch of poison ivy and it started on my forehead (wiping my brow) and my eye (very annoying, puffy like a bad hangover), and has descended the to wonder nether region when I must have adjusted myself (sue me, I'm a guy).

I only take it in the summer months but some people I know take it year round. The sap inside the plant is actually more potent during the winter months but you have to break open a stick/stem to be exposed to it.

I was seasoning some jerk chicken once and forgot to wash my hands when I was done, and scratched my balls. Man, that was a TERRIBLE couple of hours.

Steroids are the best. They give you a relatively small dose for poison ivy, but it still makes you feel like you could run through a wall if you've never takent them before. I was given a dose once in college, and I played in an intramural volleyball game later that day. I was all over the court like a madman.

Safe to assume most guys that have played sports have similar experience with heating rubs like Ben Gay ... you only make that mistake of not washing your hands very thoroughly once! Bigeye

No, that's happened to me, it's not even close! I use mineral ice frequently (I have a chronic cramping problem with my legs). The seasoning I use for my jerk chicken is MUCH hotter.

nod The bad thing is that water makes it worse EEK! I tried washing it off once (the trainer in HS got a bit too close to the children) and it made it hurt even more.

Comfort sorry your so itchy down there! maybe ice them then calamine lotion or that pain away spray... Comfort oh yea and wear oven mits when you hafta scratch down there

Same here, except it was cutting up habaneros for chili - when I was done I went to take a leak. Man that burned. I've touched my eye after cutting up habs as well - that hurts even more, but doesn't last as long.
