Also Dell Consumer has 10% CB Holiday Bonus with ShopDiscover - when you finally buy the system from dell using the gift cards
I believe shopdiscover cashback would be based on amount charged to your Discover Card. If you use entirely Giftcard, i wouldn't believe they give you 10% to Card with no purchase been posted your account.

So does this mean I can get a Canon 5D Mark II at 1799 - $89.95 cash back Mr. Rebates - $225 (3 x $75) = $1484?
Dell allows you to use 3 GC's only if it covers the whole transaction.
Your breakdown will not cover the whole transaction amount, so the 3rd GC or CC must cover the total value - $150 (2 $75 GCs)

My second link shows another SD thread discussing all the rules in the wiki info section. Most people know this, so didn't wanna bore them with details.

Well that is how you would expect them to work. But i have 2 instances specifically:
1. Purchased $98.88 at Sears with $80 sears gift card = Total paid = $18.88
CB earned = $9.89 (10% of 98.88 - August)
2. Purchased $86 at American Eagle with $60 gc = $26
CB earned = $4.3 (5% of 86 - Oct)

I am not saying this should mean you will get back 10% for your $600 laptop, but you never know Big Grin

I followed the ops link and it worked in the end. Bonus not shown in cart.

i think dell giftcards are worth less than they appear. the stuff at dell.com, nearly everything is overpriced. as for their laptops and PCs, i'd rather purchase the entire amount on a creditcard that gives you one extra warranty. Since most come with 1-year warranty, i get 2-yr warranty for free, but only if the entire amount was purchased by the creditcard, thus you cannot mix in the giftcard.

You can combine GC's online.
http://www.buygconline.com/consol...index.aspx
Yes, you can combine dell gift cards together into one, but on that page it says that Promotional Cards are ineligible for combining. So, if you have other dell GCs, you can combine, but you won't be able to combine the $75. Nor can you use the $75 on the same order, since the online ordering system (at least when I tried) allowed only one card and the rest had to be put on a CC, etc.

total three forms of payment.

you can do GC + promo card + CC.

however, you cannot use two promo cards on the same transaction.

Nor can you purchase something just with the GC + promo card. they require you to pay something out of ur CC.

Well you could, but you need to speak to manager directly and its a lot of hassle.
and if you ever needed to cancel an order you placed with the GC, it takes a whoopin week to get it refunded back to your GC account.

And this all has to be done either by chat or phone.

Some things are basically at list price, however you can find some good deals on accessories/peripherals. For instance, Dell has external storage for the same price as Amazon (Western Digital 3TB My Drive for $149, for one).

You will come across one problem and its the $75 gift card cannot really stack well. You might be able to use 2 in an offer and you can't stack 75*x amounts.
