So is the only way to use 2 x $75 promotional gift cards in a single transaction via chat or phone? Just wanted to verify that this isn't possible via the online check out.

Also must the full balance of the $75 promotional gift card be used in a single transaction?

Can you use the promo gift cards to purchase a $100 gift card? Then consolidate the gifts cards into one since technically they would no longer be promo gift cards?

^^^ Also my questions ^^^

Seems to good to be true. So I'm gonna go with 'no'. Possibly one of those deals that's only worth it if you already had your eye on something. Not worth it to go out of the way in order to get an item just because, ya know?

I believe you can. I went to mail a gift card...... and it does have the option to purchase a gift card with a gift card. I wanted to get a few laptops for black friday. So saving 150 would be awesome. They offer free next day shipping. Decisions decisions!

I was able to do this before, and did it again recently, but I believe Dell has caught on and they've cancelled every single one of my orders.

Do you really have to wait 10-20 days to get the $75 promo card?

If you order during normal business hours you can get it same day.

For people who would stack the $400 dell gc and $75 promotional gc together at one transaction, you will have a nightmare.

For online order, I can only pay anything with one gc and/or one credit/debit card. So, if you would pay anything with two gc (like $400 and $75), you have to call or online chat to place your order.

Nightmare is that you are highly likely to spend 1-hour for online/phone order.

Online checkout only allows one gift card per order.

The full balance of the promo card does not need to be used in a single transaction.

For everyone that claims it "would" be a nightmare to order via chat or phone. I purchased a ton of things from dell in the past 2 weeks via online chat it was super simple. To be fair the first order was not super speedy -- but orders 2-15 or whatever were quick and painless. I never tried doing it over the phone though. I agree I think that would be a HUGE pain. cut and paste + customer number, etc. made orders simple.

I had many more issues with Cashstar's verification which made it difficult but I was finally able to contact someone in the company that made things run smoothly for me.

Ordered two $400 gift cards, and it has been an hour and no gift cards. Order is still "In Process". If anyone ordered these cards, how long did it take to get the email?

I had to manually get them processed. Even after verification somehow they rejected my orders despite my CC company allowing them. Someone ended up being able to help me -- none of the regular cs reps though -- u definitely need to go to at least the supervisor level -- the CS reps are useless.

You guys seem to have experience with this, so maybe you could help me out. I bought a $400 GC and got the $75 GC. Apparently you cannot consolidate a promo GC with another one. I am trying to make my purchase through shopDiscover (camelCase), so I cannot use the chat to place my order, or I will not get the 10% cash back.

Am I correct to assume that I will have to just save the $75 GC for a future purchase? I likely do not need anything else from dell.com, but it looks like they do sell other things besides PCs and accessories, so maybe I can find something useful.

Finally my order went through this morning. Got both $400 GCs with $150 in promo cards. Used it all to buy the 15R SE deal for $899... $880 with discount. Still have $70 left. Very nice!

Lets say I get $1200 in gift cards, buy a laptop, and then I change my mind and want to return it. How does Dell refund me my money. In the form of a gift card?
