Tried to get a $400 card today and got rejected. First I had to call in to "verify" and apparently that went ok. Then later when I hadn't gotten my email gift card after a few hours I call back only for them to not only tell me I was rejected, but also they specifically couldn't tell me why I was rejected. WTF?

Same thing happened to me!!! I tried 3 times. Is this some small time operation? How stupid are these companies?

Anyone figure out how to get this to work???

You know, you should try calling your Bank to see if they're preventing the charges. Considering the sheer number of sales the past few days, banks are on alert. I made 6 various purchases and finally bought this gift card to get the 17R Special Edition at a cheaper price; was declined. Called the Bank, boom, done.

FYI, I've read about calling in to confirm/expedite the order so I called in after an hour and a half as I wanted to secure my order ASAP. Lady asked me some questions, looks like they're trying to field off potential thieves, and had my codes in 3 minutes after hanging up with her.

In summary, call the bank if you're having processing issues.
Call the GiftCard Customer Service @ 888-244-1272 if you don't feel like waiting for the emails (I waited an hour and a half from when I placed my order, got my codes in less than 5 minutes).

i'm on hold with the gc customer support line now. they said they are inundated with orders so it's taking longer, not sure if the csr can expedite. let's hope so so i can get my dell orders processed. is dell awake now?

I will paypal anyone if they wan't to get rid of theirs if you bought the gift cards and don't think you will use them.

I will pay the $400 for $475 worth. Thanks!

I bought the dell gift card $400 last year and still haven't used them. I was hoping to buy dell i3 laptop using the gift card for thanksgiving but couldn't use due to dell was super slow. Is it safe to sell the dell gift card through ebay as it is eCertificate and is it eligible for seller protection? Is there a better way to sell $400 gift card?

why would you do that? You gonna lose money on selling the GC. There should not be expiration on the GC. Wait until Xmas and use it. the Promotional Dell eGift card good for 30 days anyway.

Same here. My third time and they still cancel. I even called and everything went fine on the phone and they said I would be getting my emails in 10 minutes. 20 minutes later I got an email saying my order "couldn't be processed. Your card will not be charged.". Seems to me they've decided to quit the promo early and jerk everybody around until the actual promo expires on the 28th.

i just did this and during the checkout process there was no mentioning of the $75 promo card. it only mentioned it on the front page. is this how it works? and they just email codes for both without showing 75 on confirmation? also, i heard something about a 5% cashback for using gift cards or for joining something for a $1. anyone know the specifics?
